I freaking love my WRX (its still stock). I was driving my girlfriend home tonight around midnight. After I dropped her off I decided to have a little fun with my Rex. I did a couple 4k clutch drops and hit the turns and corners hard. I even got my car to drift a little too. I was just having a blast. I felt kind of tired like I wanted to sleep as I was driving her home, but once I opened the car up, I was full of energy again. I've never owned a machine that offers so much enjoyment. Its got around 2500 miles on it and I fall in love with it more everyday.

How much do you love your subaru? And was it love at first site or did you have to get in and drive it?

after doing a week of city driving during rush hour for a good
part of my week last week
(clutch, go, stop, brake, gas, turn, avoid, curse etc)
i re-bonded with my wrx again this weekend out on some country back
roads (paved), i had one of those "inspirational" drives that fully made me
remember what these cars are all about...

it's an awesome car....

I love mine. Just not as much as that guy who was making love to his red wagon I saw on the i-club a few days back.

I absolutley LOVE my Subaru Impreza RS. I loved it when I Got it and I love it even more now After CAI and Short shifter. The car just makes driving so enjoyable its almost like I treat it like a rally race car. My friends sometime complain that it tosses them around to much, but I cant even tell.

Had her since the 8th. Her name is Karen :). 1200 miles.

Washed her twice already. Cleaned interior, vacuum, etc. Removed silencer so i can hear her talk when i go WOT. :D

Getting ready to install my fumoto valve on 1st oil change and drop in a ITG air filter.

She love taking off the line and smoking everyone. :)

After leaving a friends house last night and watching the San Remo Rally I was taking another buddy home and we decided to do our own little rally..hehehe..

back roads! vroom! phshhh! Vroom! curve! vroom!

ah...i get this cheesy grin every time I get in.

way to much fun.

Oh, and 4 full tanks of gas already!

Bring it up to Chimney Rock this Saturday and we'll have our own little rally there ;)

My girlfriend tells me that I love my WRX more than I love her.

And it breaks my heart to have to say "Yes, honey, you're right" :D

I wish my girlfriend communicated as well as my scooby!
I love this car, the first time I drove it it was immediate and critical love for this sweet machine. The sounds, the feedback the feeling of power...I still smile when I think back to that day 2 years ago. Now with more bolt ons and tweaks, the car and I are one, I think it; she does it, I know what shes gonna do every second (because she tells me)...I love my scooby.

I spent 5 hours with Meguires 3 step on her last night. Got out all the swirl marks, nice heavy coat of wax for the winter. I'll spend another couple of hours detailing the interior tonight. Would I do that to my pickup truck?? Hell no.

Flacco - The RS is a 2.5L in Aus. That should be a huge improvement over the 2.0. Lots more torque!

Me and my scoob have been in a bit of a fight lately. I promised her some wheels and tires over a month ago. Now that a month has passed I don't think she believes me anymore. I keep telling her that the Tire Rack is just waiting for the tires, but it does no good. She just mopes around off boost and then occasionally throws a little temper tantrum and scares the hell out of me. She thinks I don't love her because I haven't been driving her hard. Trying to explain the reality of traffic and that the world isn't made of rally courses does no good.

So I love my scoob, but I don't think she loves me.

Funny this should come up, since I had an argument with my girlfriend about my Subie this weekend. She will just have to learn to accept it.

How much did I love my first WRX? I bought it a sibling. True love knows no bounds.

I wanted a WRX. Wife said no.
Wife wanted a baby. I wasn't ready.

Compromise:

I got my baby in April, she'll get her baby this week! :)
