Can anyone do a comparison between the pre 02 impreza wagon (ie 99 obs) rack crossbars and the new model's. Are they remotely close to the same size and profile?

I have racks for old profile and am wondering if I should get the oem cross bars b/c I have stuff that would fit good enough, or get a thule bar kit and get the parts for my racks.
