FYI all-

Click the link for "July 28 Subaru thefts arrest".

He hasn't posted on NASIOC since mid-July and probably won't be any more.
If you have bought anything from him you should contact the police as you may have been sold stolen parts.

Yes, it is. It may not stay there for more than a week or two since those are videos for their most recent stories, but as of now it's there.

alright I contacted the Hartford Police department and left a message with the detective in charge of auto theft, he's supposed to return my call tomorrow. Anyone think I've got any chance of coming out of this ok?

You should be fine. Cops are not after you. They just want witness's and what not to build a case. Two thumbs up for standing forward. Will you lose your parts? Maybe. But your a stand up guy in my book.... Thank you for stepping forward.

The sad part of the story is " he wants to become a mechanical engineer" he will get his certification "free" from the state while in prison when most of you have to attend college and pay your own way. Tax payers will have to pay his. Adds insult to injury.

Yep when my car got stolen, vandalized all of the parts were held as evidence until after the trial. You should turn your parts in, now that you know that they were probablystolen if you dont you could possibly be charged with Receipt of Stolen Property.
You can file a claim with the DA and after the hearing is over and sentences judged you will get restitution. They may be able to plea bargain for probabtion, depends how the DA feels. In my case I wanted to see the peeps go to prison, however if they had to serve time I would not start getting any $ until they were released. They pleaded out and have to pay me restitution every month. I get $93 for $14000 worth of stolen parts. It will take them 20 years to pay me, but I got even and if they miss one payment it is a straight to jail for 15 years no early release.
Do the right thing. If you bought parts from this person you need to contact the authorities then file a claim with the DA. You can also get a little relief on your taxes.
Good luck.

I bought a set of rims from him a couple of weeks ago. Sucks for me, double, because I don't have the rims anymore, they are already passed on.

Had a great excuse for getting rid of all of the parts, and even said that he worked with guys at a local dealership. Not sure if that suggests some insider trading or not?

I've called the CT State Police, and they have my information. Seargent said to expect a call in the next few days. Sucks, hope that karma fuks him in the ass.

Until they decide that its just cheaper to jugular your ass and save themselves $93 bucks worth of butt-hoin' for crack rockin' a month.

I've been on the phone with Det. Bartolotta of the Connecticut State Police. He told me to feel free to post on here if anyone has any information in relation to this guy, specifically anyone who sent money and never received their parts (like me). I left the phone number at school, but call the CSP and ask for him and he'll take down any information you can provide.
