***WING SOLD***


I'm selling an APR GT 300 Carbon Fiber wing. It retails well over $1,100 brand new. It has been used in only 1 track run, and no more. The car thereafter was sat in the garage most of the time because no motor was in it :P

I'm getting a sponsor ship with a different company that makes aero parts, so I'm now getting rid of this one.

Some Q&A's

Why are you selling?
-I'm going to be running a new wing, with a sponsor.

How much?
-Retail is $1,200 (click here (http://www.importzrevolution.com/catalog/i732.html)), but I want to get rid of it for $650 shipped, anywhere.

Why so cheap?
-The new wing I'm getting is free, so I figure I'm not losing money by selling it half price.

Condition?
-Perfect, though on the carbon fiber mounts, it came with red outlining around it, from the factory... I dont know if this is meant to be like that, or if it was just sent like that from APR, but you cant tell its there at all. No scratches, no blemishes. Comes with all mounting screws and parts.

-Say what you will, but it worked on the track. If you're tracking your car, or you're looking for that aggressive race look, then it's a great product. It's kept clean, with no markings, and I removed the APR logo on the sides, so it keeps that clean look.

Im lost? My car is legal to race in almost any series in the world. my cage is built to meet FIA WRC spec and will also pass NASA, SCCA, RA or whoever

Ok I still have not gotten the wing, nor have I been able get a tracking number out of UPS. I sent the money almost 30 days ago, even ended up paying for the shipping when it came out to be higher then you origianlly thought. When I had not received it, I filled a claim with paypal, which I won but got nothing back since acording to them there was nothing to take. So as of right now I am out $600. You told me you were not a scammer but at this point I can only assume that you are.

I sent a new shipping label and can see it still has not been used, this is getting very frustrating. Ship me the wing or give me my money back, it should have never taken this long. You keep saying you are not a scammer, and I can see that local people that pick up have no issues getting thier stuff, but you seem to have some issues sending things out.

Still nothing, nothing like being scammed out of $650.

Before you all jump the gun, I recently purchased a carbon fiber hood from him and he delivered it for me. Seemed like a nice honest guy. He was moving to Arizona the following week so that might be why there is a delay in his getting back to you. I'm sorry if you guys have issues with him. He dosent answer pm's some guy paid for a wing over 30 days ago and got nothing, dosen't post anymore, says everything is shipped and there are no tracking numbers.... i think its time to worry.

Yeah I saw that you got your stuff so that at least gives me some hope. I know that he is moving and not longer has internet at home. Also there were some legit issues shipping the wing as Staples said it was to big in the original package. My bigger frustration was not hearing back from him. Reguarless I will call him next week and get it all worked out.

looks like his long beach addy is his real one. and btw he works for intratek computer inc. in huntington beach, ca. you could call them or go there and get business done too.

Do you ever wonder why there are so many scammers on this forum? It's because people will believe anything. It's almost quaint how trusting you all are.

For Chrissake, when you're buying big items:

1. Deal locally.
2. Meet face to face.
3. Cash only.
4. If not, use a credit card with fraud protection.

Dealing locally for me is not much of an option considering the number of subies here locally vs else where, so that makes 1,2 and 3 a little hard. I did number 4 but I am not about to stop payment on paypal and screw up my paypal account that has a rating of 300+. I am personally glad there are other buyers that don't ad here to your rules as it would make it difficult for my self to sell big items as like I said the FS and WTB people locally are few and far between.

I looked through his history and in the past he never had any issues shipping, plus aside from the negative that I gave him he had all positives from a transaction stand point.

Part of the wing is here, the top deck. Sent him an overnight slip to send the other parts. He did ship the deck out a little over a week ago, the bar code part was pretty messed up and it looks like it help up the shipment a little as I had sent him a 3 day select UPS sheet, but that is UPS's fault and not his. So I am half way home. In his email he asked that I tell Ashley that he sent her stuff was well. He did not say anything about yours Tod but I would assume the same. Send him an email on the gov.va he was good about responding there.

Side note, he asked not to send emails to the .gov if possible. He is responding to the gmail account again so I would go that route.

Just sent him a message to the .VA address. Let's see if I get anything!

stuff happens... I was out for 2 weeks with a kidney stone and had delays shipping a screen out, but I had a good reason. Sounds like Randall doesn't.

Yeah the kid needs a serious lesson in communication. He asked that we not use the .gov addy but the fact that he is unresponsive anywhere else makes me not want to comply with that request even if it gets him in hot water at work. I work 60-70 hours a week and still make time to ship things out when they are sold, this is just pathetic. I sent him an overnight label to send me the rest of the wing parts and he has yet to use it. How much more hand holding does this kid need.

What is even worse is that on the same day I get one message that tells me the wing and parts were both sent, then later that day I get another message asking for another shipping label for the parts. Good lord kid can't even keeps his lies straight.

I called APR yesterday and am just going to order the parts he has not sent yet so I can get the wing installed, they are $300 so in the end still cheaper then if I had bought the wing new. I am sure some day I will get the rest, but with his current track record it will be christmas before I get it.

So has anyone else got there stuff from him yet. I noticed he has gone back to not responding to my emails

Ok for those that have not gotten there stuff, were your items supposed to ship free (I.E. included cost of shipping in item)? Only asking as that was one of my original issues with him, so I had to send him UPS return stickers on my account, which in the big picture was not a big deal since I have an account, do about $500k with them a year so I get very good rates. Any how he seems to have an issue getting into his pockets to cover shipping that he said was free till he got the actual cost. If this is the case with your item I am winning to help by sending him a label to ship it to you. If he does not use it I will not get charged, and the label cans only be used to ship something to you and I will personalize them. I can then give you a tracking number so you can see when it has shipped as he seemed to have issues give tracking numbers to be since he never tried to send things himself. PM me if you are interested.

Why dont all of the people who got scammed just call his police dept and file a complaint. If he has a .gov account I would imagine he would lose his job with the gov for this. So F'n what if he looses his job, you are just let a crook do what he does best to someone else?
Theft by deception would be one of the charges.
