Well, a most exellent development for me. The package from Justin arrived today, and contained a TRANSMISSION crossmember. :rolleyes: Like anybody with a 5 speed AWD Subaru doesn't already have one.

Am I the only one who would expect an engine crossmember? Justin has been emailed asking for a refund upon receipt of everything he sent me. Between him and gc835, I'm really getting tired of buying used parts. :(

That sucks. Well, I'm waiting on a 5spd tranny crossmember from someone else, I wonder if I'm going to recieve a mount? :lol: Hope you get it figured out, and hope I get mine figured out as well.

Congratulations 03scubaru, you're officially a scammer. The new-in-bag transmission mount you sent me is stock, not group N, and you never replied to my email after I received it. Hope the $190 was worth it. :monkey:

See first post for item description, and no I don't have pics, but this stuff is just going to sit aorund here until I get rid of it, so that isn't going to be a problem.

Im asking because he does not say it is a group n mount, and the items for sale make me think he could have swapped to a 6 speed tgranny (requires diff mount, crossmember and driveshaft)

So maybe this is just a misunderstanding. He doesn't apear to be on these boards often, so maybe give him the benefit of the doubt.

I would agree, except that his communication has been dismal. He didn't reply to my email or PM after I got the package. He hasn't even contacted my after I filed a PayPal dispute.

Well I am glad that jetfan could at least read the item description to where it does not say Group N. And not once did you ask me if this was a Group N mount or if it was an engine crossmember or a transmission crossmember. Or did you ask for pics of anything b/c I would have gladly sent you some. Plus I already told you I am not the only one that uses this name my brother does as well b/c the mods haven't help him set up his account yet. Next time I will have to be a lot more descriptive when I am selling parts.

There was no PM from u after u received your package. I hardly ever check my email so that was my fault. I still believe you should learn to ask more questions about items or ask some questions before you purchase them.

I sent you an email and posted to the thread the day I received the package.

It would make a whole lot more sense for an RS owner to be buying an engine crossmember than it would a transmission crossmember that is described as "WRX crossmember" considering that the transmission crossmember for both cars is the same.

There is still no such thing as an "STi" transmission mount, and more importantly, the one you sent me is still in the bag... and is the part number for a stock RS/WRX mount. 41022FE020

Now, for the fourth time- I will gladly return these items to you at my expense for a refund of what I paid you. I would then do everything I could to remove the feedback here and at paypal. If you're not interested in that, then you might as well let the subject drop.

So you are telling me that the Sti and the rs/wrx have the same mount! Then why would you have to have an Sti tranny mount for the swap. Which is exactly what I ordered from Subaru. Another thing is that since I already had sold these to you I passed on other buyers since they were already sold.

No, the STi and WRX do not share the same mount... that's my point. Look up the part number, you sent me a stock WRX mount regardless of what you may have ordered or asked for. As for the forum you listed it in- so what?

well items are forum specific in case u were wondering why they seperated them and why would Subaru lie to me. They are the same besides the fact that one is harder.

I would suggest calling the dealer that sold you your "STi" transmission mount and ask them why they lied to you. Of course, they too could simply have been ignorant of the fact that there is but one part number for an '02-'05 WRX manual transmission, and that part number is 41022FE020. Please explain how the "STi" transmission mount part number is different here (http://www.northursalia.com/parts/partsimpreza.html)...
