I'm not sure what it is, but it seems like most the i-clubbers wouldn't want to share that info with newbies. I've asked the same question before, but they give no answer. They tell you to check out some website that doesn't really answer the question.

You see what I mean? Must mean that they don't even know what a trunkmonkey is themselves. The website doesn't answer the question buddy.

What is a Trunkmonkey?
The Trunkmonkey concept had been floating around the labs for quite a while before anyone actually decided to implement it. Alright my take on the whole Trunkmonkey thing is as follows. Basically it's a term used for an unknown noise which a suby makes. Because from what I understood from the webpage was that the monkey gets trashed and runs around the trunk, bumping, crashing, and making a hell of a noise. So if you hear an unknown, or annoying noise and your friend (who does not own a suby) asks "What the hell is that?" You just blame it on the Trunkmonkey!

The reason I don't find it humorous and probably others, is because of people who don't care to share what the term came from. Why would we find something we don't understand humorous? I don't have any noises from my trunk, so why should I know? The ones that take the humor out of it is the ones who don't care to explain to newbies.

i never had to ask what a trunkmonkey was..... and that site seemed awefully clear to me. My trunkmonkey doesn't make any noise back there. weird.

My lazy trunkmonkey seems to think the cargo net is a hammock, and so has not gotten around to making any noises to date.

this really should be an FAQ... hehehe
