I thought Subaru couldn't use STI hence the creation of SPT. If the "STI" does come over, will it be called WRX-SPT? Sounds kind of lame. :rolleyes:

I thought the STi copyright issue was disproven, and that FHI had copywritten it, and other similar terms.

Well...I don't know if it matter at all, but from my days working at an Auto Parts store, there is a company "Spark Transfer International" which uses the initials STI. They make sprak plug wires...

So that could possibly be why Subaru can't have STi here...

JGard, doesn't matter. Peugot used to sell a 505 STi here a decade ago. The STi thing was disproven, look to Subaru's explanation as to why they used SPT instead of STi.
