Sounds like he is saying the synchros are shot at the least.

I don't know much about the tranny as I never drove the car, it was replaced by the previous owner because of the grinding. It is perfect for a project.

I need the ring and pinion and the lower case half of the tranny (the one that has the drainplug and forks).

Do you know if those pieces are in working order?

as I mentioned it in my previous post I don't know anything about the tranny because I have never drove the car with it or opened it up.

you can get a quote from http://www.watkins.com/, if that helps I don't mind dropping it off at they Newark terminal. but you are not that far from me either we can meet somewhere on I95, the tranny is clean and fits in a WRX trunk.
