We have for sale a set of Legacy GT wheels in perfect condition. Right now they have a set of Toyo T1-R's in size 215/45/17 mounted with 1000 miles on them. The wheels and tires are $750 picked up, and we will also throw in a set of stock LGT Bridgestone RE92's with around 50% tread on them. OR, we will sell the wheels with the RE92's mounted for $400. Here are a couple pics of them on Project Grocery Getter.

Well, just let us know if you would like to take them. We would need to take them to get the Toyos removed and the Bridgestones mounted.

For the record.

we pm-ed you and we never heard back from you since Thursday. So we figured you lost interest. In the interim, others asked about them.

Miles,

Well, for the record, this is what I got your original pm back. I was waiting for your further notice as indicated in the pm. Like I said, I have cash in hand just wait to give them to you when I pick up the wheels. I didn't get any further notice, nor did I get any message to ask me if I still want them.

I think we can do that, Myles just has to take the wheels to get the Toyos removed and the RE92's mounted. I'll let you know when they are ready to go.

... I can get the $ in your hand as soon as tomorrow. ...

When I found that you were still listening to offers, I sent 2 PMs on 8/6. You hadn't received other payment until yesterday 8/7. I knew you read my pms yesterday (I got read receipts) but did not respond until today when the deal is completed. Please look at the date/time stamp of the pms and posts.

Yes, I received your pm last Thursday 08-03-2006 04:37 PM. I waited the whole Friday to hear from you. Meanwhile, you were still entertaining offers

You could have sent me a PM to let me know you would consider other offers if I do not respond. Please just don't say you 'figured' that I lost interest. I thought we had a deal and I took your words for it and not worried about anything. But the fact was that you were taking other offers (maybe better offers?) within less than 24 hours after you said you would sell them to me. Should I be blamed for waiting for your further notice ("I'll let you know when they are ready to go")? This is what you told me and I just did what you said. If I really wanted to back off my offer, I would have contacted you about that. Why couldn't you simply notify me that you were considering taking other offers? FWIW, we agreed on paying you in cash, that's the reason I didn't write again asking you if you have Pay Pal account and pay in advance. That's simply doesn't mean I lost my interest!

Here is the thing. Yes I am busy. Yes I am trying to sell these wheels.

I post my cell on these forums all the time. IF you were concerned you could have called me.

Saturday I was busy driving to Baltimore to UPS after waiting here all day then to Summit Point trying to make it to the TIme Attack. My cell phone is on 24 hrs.

I personally am selling these wheels which has nothing to do with Racecomp. In general when I sell a part off my car, its.." money in hand gets parts".
I have been screwed by soo many people playing mr nice guy with people showing up for parts to buy from me personally, that now I ask for money and people who are interested call.

I apologize for the mix up.

It's OK.
Let's move on.

I was not trying to make any one look bad. However I was also taken by surprise that I thought I had this deal. Every body is extremely busy including you and me. So every time I visited the forum I simply checked if I got pm. That's what happened last Friday. I didn't browse the For Sale section every time I came. When I did not see any pm, I thought you haven't got the chance to mount the tires. That's why I didn't ask.

Saturday I went to DE for a whole day. Did check the message but not the For Sale section. I found out that maybe one day too late. I thought about if I should give you a call but then I thought it was Dan's wheels/tires and it was late. So I sent PMs instead.

So it's all good now. I too have a couple experience that when I committed to buy stuffs then the seller came back and said sold to some one else. That was not happy experience. I think I can understand the other way around. But so far I have only been screwed and never once screw any one if I said I am buying. I do believe trading here is to the sole benefits to both the seller/buyer. Why should I try to screw any one here? You didn't have my payment in hand simply because I was waiting for your instruction. Otherwise please see my feed back that I was always paying almost like immediately if seller takes instant money transfer like Pay Pal.

Well, next time I know if I am buying stuffs, I will call/pm/do whatever I can to bother the seller to death that they will not sell to any one else. :D

well things happen in a weird way. we have a customer who is buying wheels for his Leg GT. LOL. So in about a week, I may have another set.

THEY ARE YOURs IF HE LEAVES THEM HERE, which is his style.

Wow indeed, weird things do happen in a weird way. Guess that's how life operates. I am glad I've mended ways before this. Well, no matter if we reach another agreement next week or not, you have earned my respect for being a stand up type of guy.

Thumps up for Myles.

Jeebers, the price on these things has dropped a lot...

I bought a set in spring of '05 for a heck of a lot more. Plus I got new tires. Oh well.

Astin,

No problem. That's just mis-communication. No body has any ill intension. I would say people here at MAIC are really great.

Enjoy your new wheels/tires. They will look sharp on your car!
