It depends on :

Your address, age, gender, marital status, insurance coverage type, any tickets/accidents, and car type. We now know your car type.

Let's give you an example. I live upstate NY, I am 23, male, unmarried, fully insured, 1 speeding ticket, and a 2001 RS Coupe. I pay $1600 / yr through Allstate with a $500 comprehensive and collision deductable.

I am 20, 1000 deductible, 2 sided insurance, 3200$/year, 1 ticket

OUCH!!!

b4 had a faster car (rx7 turbo), and insurance was only 1000/year

I'm 30, married, have a few tickets (Step 17 currently, while Step 15 is neutral). Live about 30 minutes west of Boston in a very low crime/low population town.

Current '96 Honda Accord EX (4 cyl, auto) - $1300

Price quoted a '02 WRX Wagon with same coverage - $1550.

Not that much more (yet).

for me: 02 2.5TS, age 27, clean record about $900/yr

when I was under 25 living in a more expensive city with my older 93 Sentra SE-R, one year was about $2200 with the same clean driving record. that hurt!!

Soon to be 25 and I just changed to AAA insurance for about $1400 per year. My old company wanted about $2000 for my 02 RS. $250 comprehensive and $500 collision deductable. I lowered the comprehensive deductible because I don't want to get the shaft again if someone decides to rip off my spoiler.

on my old 86 accord with all the same tickets i payed 210 a month both for full coverage
if you live in the washington area look up Vern Fonk ins. There the cheapest insurance iv'e ever found with or without tickets. look at about 20 differant agency before you decide.

if you are a good boy, get good grades, and will take defencive driver school...you can get on your moms policy, get multi car discount, home owner discount, good student discount... bla bla, you might end up paying something next to nothing... untill u get your first ticket... then you need a lawyer to hide the ticket from your parents :D

How are you driving without knowing how much the insurance is? You are insured, right?
