This is a Subaru Forester Automatic Transmision that was sent to Level Ten for the highest rebuild (was going to go into a 7-8 second/800+hp subaru). I have the invoice. The trany and tc were never instaled and are still brand new and thus will have the 6 months warranty from Level Ten.
The total cost on the invoice is $5235, however the shftronic unit does not have to be purchased with this trany IF you own a forester (direct drop in), but is available for sale ($600-new, half that if purchased with the trany).
The tran has the highest level ten (or any) build ($3864) and is good for over 800hp as is the torque converter ($500)!
The trany does not come with a Valve Body but any forester VB will fit in (recomond a VB job for high hp car).
This unit should fit into an auto wrx, however the vb will need to be from a Forester AND you would need to use the shifttronic ONLY, so no TCU controling the trany. Also the r&p in the forester trany is differerent than the WRX, I think maybe 4.9????
If someone with a forester needs a replacement or ready for some track time, this IS the deal!

Level Ten does quality work. This trany WILL work great for someone. Previous issues (not mine :p ) with Level Ten was from there VB mods, not trany builds!

Its alot of work. Just like going auto > manual i guess. peddle assembley, tcu, and im unsure of the driveshaft but probably have one that would work for a swap.
Unless you have a bum knee, like to multitask while driving (me), have a history of abusing and breaking mt's, would rather have a faster 1/4 mile car, have a wife that can not drive the mt well (most of us have at least 3 of these,haha)....etc.....then stick with the 5mt....lol. Did i talk you into a swap yet :lol:

im not sure about that, espec if you use a stand alone (autronics was going to be used for this app) and use the shiftTronic, however, you will be forced to use the shiftTronic controler for all driving.

What year is this tranny? I have 2003 Forester?

No, obo, for shure. The best offer i got last time activly trying to sell it was $1500. that was a big loss for this product but il take what i can get now. Level Ten will help in needed (ig, shiftTronic wiring...etc).
