I just want to say again how great it is to deal with Mark and TurboXS. I have a Unichip, BOV and a knocklink from TurboXS.

Every time that I`ve dealt with Mark is has been very helpful and informative.

I recently purchased a Knocklink from Mark and he even included WRX specific instructions of the install with pictures.

I can`t say enough about their customer service and willingness to go the extra step to make the customer happy.

I`ll be buying my turbo and intercooler upgrades from them also.

I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. :D

Thanks Mark,

Bill

I only bought a Type H BOV from Mark (so far, but I got my eye on possible Unichip). I did speak to him on the phone, and he seemed to be really on the ball. I liked the fact that he was not only setting up the Unichip for current use, but was engineering in more thought so he could upgrade things in the future! Like making a harness that eventually could have a boost gauge or EGT plugged into it for a signal. THIS is what the market needs. Ingenuity.

Mark was also great about my order...very prompt, and helpful. Matter of fact, I had the BOV free for a month (he forgot to charge my card, and calmly emailed me a month after I bought it on my CC, and explained what happened). :) Very refreshing.

Mark is extremely knowledgable and very helpful, even to someone who is not a customer! All vendors could learn a lot from his approach to the business.

I highly recommend him - he is in the very small elite group of Subaru-related vendors.

mark is awesome, but most of you already know that, what you don't know is that the guy has some seriouslly good ideas about how to run a subaru aftermarket tuning company. Good move on buying the dyno, awesome forsight on building the plug and play harness, and the future... well there are some awesome things in the pipeline.

I was amazed how fast they process the orders. I ordered TurboXS MBC on Tuesday via UPS ground. They responded through email saying they already shipped it a few hours later.

Didn't expect to get it so soon, but I got it the next day! Wed evening.

Thanks for the quick service. I just can't wait to install this beast.

Yup they have some of the best, if not the best customer service I`ve ever encountered.

Mark( and Denise) and TurboXS are amazing.

I purchased a high performance mbc from Mark a while back. (2 months ago) I didn't install until the last 10 days.... I was having some problems, when I called Mark , he took the time to get Phil to check his mbc settings... not only did he email me the settings to start out with, but he even went as far as to send out a replacement hose with brass nipples on each end (priority mail)to help solve my problem.....(btw, at no cost to me)

(I didn't follow directions properly, and left the electronic solenoid thing attached to the T in the tubing off of the turbo, I was experiencing some serious fluctuations in boost)

They rock!

I would definitely do business with them again......

I Recommend TurboXS to anyone:D

I just put on what may well turn into the turboxs stage 3 or 4 kit for the WRX (PE1820 turbo, Sti injectors, supra fuel pump, and map dyno tuned for the above)

All i can say is WOW! Mark knows his stuff. Turn the key with a totally new fuel system and the car runs AWESOME! No idle issues, runs like stock till you want to crack the whip on the turbo, and then it takes off like God himself punted the little car into another timezone.

I was put on the "list" for the stage 1 kit towards the end of July.

A few delays occured. BUT, mark warned me this may happen as we all know about how turboxs as inundated with requests.

Got the First harness in Oct for my AT wagon. Was the wrong one, it was missing the AT wire pass through. Sent it back.

Week went by, got another harness. Same problem, they accidentially sent me the MT version. I called and got Phil on the phone. He appologized profusely. Said it would be another week. He then called me 10 minutes later and said he found one! He had it sent next day. My wagon runs like a beast now!

Conclusion - They screwed up (a few times). But kept the communication open, honest, and made ammends. They did not hesitate to ship a replacement even before getting the incorrect one back. I'm a very happy and satisfied customer. As a matter of fact, I'm planning on taking a dyno trip down to MD. I have the bug now and I can't stop....

Thanks Mark, Phil, and Denise

well considering my recent 1/4 mile times, i have to give the thread a bump and just simply say how great turboxs has been to me.

Mark and the crew there have been quite amazing in dealing with me, and have really helped me get my wrx moving quite quickly.

Great! Simply wonderful to deal with. Being overseas and having to drive only a Euro WRX and wanting to up the performance I emailed Mark. He replied and told me if I could get the ECU diagram from the parts manual. It took me a while to try and get this (things go slow in Kuwait!). Anyway, I emailed him and told him that I had the info and he replied that he had just gotten them himself. He then said yes, he could do the unicip for my car.

I received my unichip this last week and installed (best instructions yet) it yesterday. Wow, it's like I am driving a new car with allot more get up and go! Thanks!

I ordered their Stage 1 Unichip on Valentines Day. Tuesday came around and it hadn't arrived yet so I called. Somehow they'd gotten the order, but it hadn't been shipped. They overnighted it to me for no extra charge. It installed easily, and works great. Great customer service, thanks guys...

I have been trying to call TurboXSe for the past few days and nobody there has answered the phone. I have called both the toll free number on the web site and the 301 area code number on the web site. I would have left a message for a call back but the voice messaging system says it can't take messages.

I am sure they are busy but I would like to talk to some one with questions about the Stage 2 before I place an order. Does any one know of a better number to call then those listed on the site, or know if they are away from the shop for a few days.

Any help would be apreciated.

I got Stage 1 installed today, and all I can say is WOOOO HOOOOO! :D

This car rocks, I am very happy, and the muffler sounds so good. I can only imagine what the car will be like once I get stage 2 on there and then look towards stage 3/4 (Uppipe, fuel pump, Injectors, VF30, possibly upgraded TMIC, Samco hoses, new clutch, etc, etc). This car is going to be such a money pit.

And everyone at TurboXS has been very helpful, I never felt like an idiot asking a question and always got a straight, helpful answer.

Thanks TurboXS

Just wanted to give a positive plug to TurboXS for the latest example in a developing history of great customer service that I am receiving from these guys.

1. Numerous back-and-forth email communications with Phil where he takes the time to offer advise on running a VF30 and what supporting mods I should use.
2. Monday 04/22 - I send in my stage-2-mapped Unichip, for a stage-4 remap. I send it via Fedex 2nd-day air. I include a small gratuity, although they offer the remapping as a free-service I at least do not want them to incur the return shipping costs at their own expense.
3. Wednesday 04/24 - Fedex tracking shows Mark signed for the package.
4. Thursday 04/25 - The Unichip is waiting for me when I get home. Sent using overnight express shipping.

Class act guys - keep it up!

So whats the deal guys??

Ive been eagerly waiting for 3 extra days then the 5 day time it takes and no chip yet and weekend is coming and i dont wanna wait ANOTHER week..

Not a pleased customer at the moment unlike last week when i ordered a dp and it was here right when they said ect..

Not usual of them this week. Maybe everyone is having problems with their chips since this was the big week for them.

I just had the same experience with them. UPS next day shipped my unichip for remap on Thursday morning 7/25, they received it Friday 7/26, unichip was waiting for me when I got home today (Monday 7/29). Awesome. I bought the TurboXS turbo-back (without muffler), and according to the shop I used to have it installed, the midpipe was about 1" too long. They had to do some cutting and welding to make the system fit, which obviously resulted in extra labor that I had to pay for. I contacted TurboXS regarding this problem using the customer feedback form on their web site, and never heard back from them.

I hadn't bought the system directly from TurboXS (got it from Mach V Motorsports), so maybe I should have been talking to Mach V instead, but I'm still disappointed that TurboXS doesn't respond if somebody informs them about a problem with one of their products. There might not be much they can do after the fact, but it would still be nice to get at least an acknowledgement.

Earlier in the week they were having T1 problems so they were having phone and email problems. I would just call them on monday, the toll free number is on their web site and they will help out pretty quickly. If you are looking for an answer this weekend try PMing Phil (motoxphil) or Nathan (nmyeti) her on i-club, but they my not respond if they are not online this weekend.

I have not hear of this problem before, but that not to say that it could not happen. The fit is pretty tight, so hopefully them cutting off an inch does not cause leaks down the road.

Just got my UTEC tuned this Friday (1/3/03).

The team at TurboXS: rocks, kicks ass, is the shiznit, performs miracles, is professional, is easy to talk to, provides superb customer service... and probably leaps tall buildings in single bounds :D

Thanks to:

Mark - for hooking me up with a very, very sweet deal

Phil - for coaxing so many more ponies out of my setup

Mike - for doing the set-up on my car

Nathan, Ryan23, and everyone else for putting up with me, giving me sound advice, working late on a Friday to ensure a proper tune, and just being very cool gearheads to talk to.

The tune is phenomenal. Smooth power throughout, with an awesome push once the criteria for heavy boost are met. All this and fuel economy too (when not boosting hard). It's literally like having a new car. I can't stop grinning, and writing the comments offered by several friends who have been on test rides would get me timed out or worse, so... enough said

Thank you very much Turbo XS. I hope you'll be around a long time, because you've made a customer for life.

How long does it usually take them to reflash a unichip? They recieved mine on 3/10 and have not sent it back yet. They have had it for 4 days and not mailed it yet. I know it's a free service but how long does it take?

I bought a Stage 2 UTEC setup from Nathan back in August of 2002. I am very pleased with the craftsmanship of the products I received.

It has been rock solid for me so far, so I haven't needed to call them for tech support. But the sales experience was great.

Great people. I asked what the advantages were of getting an atmosphere BOV over a stock BOV for the WRX. They honestly told me that there wasn't really anything greater about it, except for the noise. Of course, I ordered it anyways.:disco:

Ordered at 2:30pm 4/30, arrived 3:30pm 5/1..

Good thing I live close enough to TurboXS that its only a 1 day UPS ground trip ;)

I love the sound, I can finally hear the turbo and the OE BOV (enough for me anyway). Car still needs to learn some more, but the gains are noted. It seems to be mostly in the top end 4000+rpm. Buttdyno only though.

This was my first time dealing with TurboXS directly, and I think I may have to do business again for a top-mount in the future for sure! Couldn't be happier!

I just wanted to chime in on how good the customer service is at TurboXS. I recently bought a used TurboXS TBE. After putting it on and then reading the FAQ on the TurboXS website, I realized that the Downpipe-to-cat bracket was missing. I called them, they got my address and said it and some sleeves for the spring bolts are on there way, free of charge!! I just wanted to say thanks again and to recommend TurboXS to everyone.

BOO! to TurboXs.

I just bought one of their products from one of our vendors and they sent me the wrong part which is not the problem. I called up TurboXs which is right down the street and ask them if I could swing by to replace the wrong part with the correct one and they refused and said I need to send it back to the Vendor. Even though the part arrived today and wasn't installed.
That's what you call customer service? I will not use TurboXs products again.

I was able to get it at a cheaper price, but that doesn't doesn't make any lesser of a txs product for them to turn their back on us.
The vendor I bought from even contacted TurboXs to ask if they could help resolve this situation since they have the correct part and my car was down at the time and I guess I wasn't good enough. NEVER AGAIN!

I bought a TXS v2 TMIC back in the day. Late '03 or so. Saw that the BOV face was not smooth at all(hills and valleys). My car couldn't get any boost, because it was leaking so badly through the face(stock BOV). Sent it back in, spent $70 shipping it(was never refunded that money). They sent the EXACT same one back(still unfinished), and wrote me a letter saying thanks for my business. I was peeved off back then...

Fast forward 3 years. I order a UTEC(giving them the benefit of the doubt), and they fail to give me an instruction booklet. There's a checklist, without a check for the instruction booklet. Sorry, but I'm new to UTEC, so I don't know what to do.

Yeah, these are just my feelings, but such is life. TXS is just another company after your money, and they don't give a flip about the consumer. They're worried about $$$, and that's it.

Thanks to Jermaine for the dtec power cable, asked them to send the cheapest way and it arrived in 2 days to the customers house and was very very pleased with the price of it.

Last year I had some questions on tuning the UTEC because I had no clue and once again Jermaine took care of me and broke it down to me over the phone for a good 30 minutes.

When I got my DTEC and software went crazy they replaced it no questions asked

Mark at TurboXS is a very nice person to deal with. I have been battling an exhaust leak on my car for as long as Ive owned the exhasut. Finally got under there and took a straight edge to the flange and sure enough its warped. Mark is going to be taking care of it for me and I couldnt be happier. It will be great to finally have that leak gone and the car just a little quieter.

Ordered TXS replacement gaskets directly from site with 3 day shipping on Monday, 2/11/08 at 11:30am PST.

Called on Tuesday 2/12/08, at 1:30 pm PST, no answer.

Sent email 2/13/08, asking when or if my order shipped. No response.

Called 2/14/08, got in touch with Laura. My order had not shipped yet, and was going to ship that day. I anticipated it to be delivered by Friday, 2/15/08 originally, but no dice. Was told I could pay extra for overnight shipping, was given no discount at all, even though nothing had been communicated to me about any potential delays.

Was also told in a follow-up email that "I also was informed that this item had been on backorder and did not even come in until yesterday (2/13/08), so, it would not have gone out before yesterday afternoon anyways."

I really hope that the items actually make it here tomorrow, as I have an install set up for Monday...

Overall, decent products, but poor face to the company when dealing directly.

whats going on at Turboxs lately? I've ordered a rotated kit through one of thier distributors back in mid march and my vendor has been getting the run around with mis-information that the kit has been sent out several times, but yet when a follow up each week , they are told certain pipes are still out and being fabricated.
It is already 6 weeks since the order has been placed.
this is very frustrating since, i have been a proponent of their products for years.

I called up directly last week and was told the pipes are a month out, wtf??!! especially when my vendor was told they were shipped out.

Has anyone made an order for a rotated kit the past 2 months and received their order?

6/13 update. 4 months since the order. i called my vendor to find out the status of my rotated kit order, no ETA was given when the kit would be in. Apparently TXS is having a problem with filling FMIC orders for customers too.
In no way it should take this long to fabricate an uppipe and downpipe for a rotated kit.
