The Prodrive will cost $35,155 MSRP (the prodrive will be limited like the yellow WRX)

HP will be 265

First Sti will hit the shores in Apr 2002

The HP will be 276.434.
Mine will have a few immediate mods:
I plan to put the intercooler on the roof. Lotta airflow, serious damage possibilities in underground parking lots. :)
I am going to NOS it (cus thats whats cool in Fast 'n Furious).
I plan to cut summa da weight by taking the doors off...all of them.
No doors no air con needed.

One serious one:
If indeed Subaru/STi is dumb enough to try to put gold wheel on a car sold in NA again, I am going to sand and polish.

Interesting idea......

How much does each door weigh?

After my research here is my best guestimate :) at this point from my site:

How Many: 1500 or less

How Much: 29,995 BASE MSRP

Specs: Full UK Spec, Possibly more horsepower and different seats.

When: No later than March 2003..

You can read my reasoning at my site, I'm not going to type it again. :)

There's no way the MSRP will be under $30k. WRXs have sold pretty well, and it will probably get a price bump in the next few years. 14,000 or so WRXs have sold already, right? I'd say MSRP of 32 or so, and Subaru still has no trouble selling the 500 it brings. 2004 model year, available January 1, 2003.

We won't get the Prodrive model, just the STi.

Glenn do you have a US STI site in the works with insider info as you did for the WRX?

my guess 38k and 256hp ...at least that's what they told one of my recent customers who put $1,500 for the car.

I've changed my prediction on when is it coming..

I am now pretty firmly set for October 02. I hear it coming up again and again, from several sources, most of them I would consider more reliable then Joe Dealer down the street..
