got the factory Foglight kit for my MY06 STI, and wanted to know when i install it if the Fog lightmod on scoobymods will still work with the setup?

looked at the kits instructions and the wiring looks to be already installed. from what i can see the Scoobymods info should work, but can anyone verify this.

Look at this thread, looks it worked for others. I'm going to try it this weekend.. no wire cutting/splicing required, only modifying the fog light relay with a wire to the cigarette lighter. sounds easy enough..

Yes it works.

did it over the weekend.

1. installed the fogs, did the mod from scoobymods (only difference was Orange wire was actually orange w/ yellow stripe).

2. disabled DRL's.

all set.

Did you use the brackets that came with the factory fog kit?...........my buddy and I don't think you use them on the install.........and

What was the factory part # for the kit you bought........H4510FE020 is what they gave us.........

Joostin42, Thanks for updating the us on what wire (orange w/yellow stripe) for the 12v source. Even though you have a STI, I was running into problem with the scoobymods instructions this morning getting power to the fog light switch by using the plain orange or the black w/red striped wire as a power source (I don't know if they changed somethine on the 06's or if it was the typer of connector I tried to use witch was the new TAP IT type) on my 06 wrx. I was getting ready to throw up knowing that I just cut and spliced several wires and nothing was happening. Then I got back on here to ask more question when I saw that you had to use the the orange w/yellow wire for the 12v. So I went back out to tap that wire to try and then I had power to the switch. Thanks for saving my a$$.
