yes it fits and stock is 19mm. The CUsco would be the conservative route to take. The Whitelines would be the super duper route to take.

saint_foo 08-29-2006, 02:25 PM Do the front sways (Whiteline) fit an 04 WRX wagon?
thx!
sti robot 08-29-2006, 02:40 PM I think the wagon has a different track. I'd call and check with them though. I'm curious as to what the actual answer is because I have a friend with an 04 wagon who would like my stock bar when I go to the 27.

We do sell a 22mm wagon specific front whiteline sway bar. The 27mm front will more than likely fit as it has worked for most people but we will not accept any returns due to improper fitment on the wagon.
Mike
sti robot 08-29-2006, 04:03 PM So do you think the takeoff from my sti will fit my friend's wagon?

kts262 09-04-2006, 12:41 PM soooo tempted to upgrade from my 22mm cusco bar to the whiteline 29mm..... and the new shop is just a few minutes from my house making it easy to go pick this up.... dagger!
ButtDyno 09-04-2006, 12:47 PM Do eeet!
kts262 09-04-2006, 12:57 PM ^^ that isn't helping me, i need to STOP spending money on this car so i can save up for the BMW 325is project car! ;)
Capt Crunch 09-06-2006, 05:36 PM Myles,
After getting a feel of my car at the limit (courtesy of you) my car seems to have a decent amount of understeer I'd like to get rid of. I don't think it's because I'm overcooking the corner, it's just that mid-turn and as I'm powering out all I get is understeer. I'd like it to be more neutral. What should I do?
ButtDyno 09-06-2006, 05:39 PM What alignment/tire pressures are you running?
Capt Crunch 09-06-2006, 05:58 PM What alignment/tire pressures are you running?
Alignment, I forget... I asked Chad Block for some numbers and fed them to Andrew. If I recall it had a lot of negative camber in front.
As for pressures, I run 35 psi all around.

OK, I got talked into it. ;)
PMing RaceComp about picking it up later this week.
RaceComp Engineering 09-11-2006, 02:11 PM We have a brand new in box set of Cusco Lateral Links and Trailing Arms for 04-07 STi. They sell normally for around $1800. We are selling them for $1300 shipped or picked up. Here is a product description:
Cusco’s pillow ball joint trailing rods prevent movement under acceleration and braking and enable smooth suspension movements. Tire grip is therefore increased and prevents sudden changes in car behavior. Improves traction, braking and cornering characteristics. Cusco's pillow ball joint lateral links are designed to secure traction in drifting and stability during acceleration under high speed cornering. The turnbuckle adjustment enables fine-tuning of the camber angle adjustments. Controls unwanted forces under acceleration and braking. Toe-in and toe-out settings are easy to adjust.

STiyiyi 09-12-2006, 04:47 PM Kelly,
I am very interested in getting both of these Cusco suspension pieces but I won't be ready to buy them for about 3-4 weeks. If the deal is still available at that time, great. Thanks for the heads up. The best price I've gotten on that set is $1495 shipped.

Mikereally!? I thought going bigger than the 22mm front whiteline bar was extremely stiff...
... I know where I got that. fastwrx.com:
" We advise mild 22mm upgrade bars for most street cars. Too stiff of a bar can seriously degrade ride quality and make the car prone to sudden breakaway behavior."
and
"Whiteline Front Sway Bar WRX 24MM Adjustable: Very stiff! Intended for competition use only."
...

It really is personal preference. We mainly recommend and sell the 27mm front to our customers and they all love em. Even the daily drivers that see no track time love em.
Mike
r0bman 09-14-2006, 03:34 PM good to know... guess I'm going to have to ship one of the above whiteline fronts and a 24 fixed rear... or I might just eat it and drive up there this weekend. Shipping should be nice and cheap... :)
Anyway, I'll probably call tomorrow after the paycheck cycles :)
