I tried searching, but can't find a thread with my problem.
Up until a week ago, my HID lights were working fine. DRL is disabled too. But after some heavy rain, my HIDs are always on. I'm thinking there's a loose connection, but I don't know where to start looking.
Oh, and when I pull the parking brake up, the HIDs go off.
Any idea where my problem is? They were working fine before the rain... DRL was disabled, and HIDs would only turn on when i turned them on!
Thanks

Wow, just wow, I can't believe you didn't even consider reading his post.
If you've got aftermarket HIDs, try going back to stock, seeing what happens, and then reinstalling the HIDs. It sounds like someone reconnected your DRLs, but I suppose you've ruled that out.
I really have no idea; I'm just dissapointed by people who respond without even reading the post.

You probably "disabled" your DRLs by disconnecting the dropping resistor (the silver module) on the passenger strut tower in the engine comparment. This does not truly disable the DRL function as the control module is still active, all it does is interrupt the ground circuit from the module through the resistor. With the stock headlights this is sufficient to keep the DRLs off, but with HIDs the ballasts will probably have an alternate ground path so they may come on as DRLs even though the resistor is disconnected.
You DO have to disconnect the main module inside the car next to the glovebox. There are plenty of threads here with pictures showing where it is.
