A couple months ago, my s/o noticed that occasionaly the passenger window switch would not put the window up. If she kept trying, eventually it worked. It gradually got worse until now, it won't go up at all with the passenger switch. It will go up with the driver's switch and it will still go down with the passenger switch. Is the switch fried?

It's VERY likely the switch. If you have a self service junk yard it'll be $5 or so. I suspect the dealer price will be 10 times that.

A new switch should do it. Sounds like the contacts are made sometimes and sometimes not.
