Hey folks,

We have seen a surprising amount of Subie tuners come in for tire mounting and balancing and everyone seems to say we have the best prices out there.

We have mounted just about every reasonable size out there. From some 315/30/19 on a 997 to the typical 235/45/17.

Our rate is $25/tire for a 45 or higher profile and $35/tire for 40 or smaller profiles. Usually this can be done on the spot so please feel free to come on by for your tire mounting and balancing needs.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

 These guys did my 245-35-17's. I shudder to think what a pain in the ass that was :)

And they didn't charge $texas for it, unlike some other shops in the area. *grumble*

Thanks again!

What does an alignment run?

VIPGarage
08-25-2006, 03:20 PM
we don't have the ability to do alignments in house. there is a mustang shop across the street from us called FCCT that does great work and they only charge like $70 for a 4 wheel alignment. Give them a call at 571-434-7374 and tell them that the guys from VIP sent you and they'll hook you up.

235/45/17 is nothing for us. that is the stock size for the EVO too and we do that all day long. Hell we did a 295/30/19 a little while ago and we have stretched a 215 on a 9" wheel so we have quite a knack for tire "maneuvering"

235/45/17 is nothing for us. The 245/35/17's must have been a little harder, tho ;)

Merged the threads; let me know if you need any titles edited.

I will be needing (5) 235/50/18s mounted and balanced in the near future. Do you guys do road force balancing? How much will that run me?

Why would you have issues? I have 235/55/17s mounted to my 17x7.5s. The width is fine.

The width isn't the problem, its the sidewall height. And with some tires the sidewall is super stiff, causing even more problems.

Yeah, I remember when Tay tried to mount my RE070's on the stock STi BBS wheels. We had 3 people on that machine by the end of it all :p

I circled by Sunday in the red RSTi to find out where you were located.

I waved to someone as they were closing the garage door, then turned around and rolled back out.

I'll try to come by this week, as I have something I need modified to fit my other car.
