How much current should the inductor side of a typical 30A/12V automotive relay pull? I'm seeing about 1.8A, is that about right?

Here is a 40A for reference: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=37526&TabID=1&C=SEO&U=strat15&doy=search It's coil is 80 ohms, which is 0.15A. What's the resistance of your relays coil? DrD 08-28-2006, 04:38 PM 1.8A definitely sounds too large. |
