So what problems have you personally experienced with your Subaru. I figure a poll would be easier to gather info for everyone instead of us having to always search through multiple theads.

My windshield got hit by a rock on the freeway 2 weeks after I got the car. :mad:

It made a crack about 6-8" long at first and now (about 2 weeks later) it is over a foot long.

a suspect a spec of floating dust hit mine when I was doing 40mph and as a result I have a 22" crack around my window.

This poll isn't exactly scientific. Some people probably have more than one issue. I guess you have to pick the issue that is most problematic for you unless your able to vote more than once (not sure). But it's cool to see this on a graph verses a thread with 300 posts.

Yep, I should have added No Major Problems, didn't even think of it at the time :mad:

Can't change it now....if a Moderator wants to Change the "Other" selection to "No Major Problems", that would work for me ;)

I don't think the one vote on "Other" will sway any results too much...

I haven't had any real major problems just small annoying ones. First a rock ripping part of my hood off, first gear popping out, CEL, the lastest one is a cracked windshield.
What most poeple don't realize is that this is a completely redesigned car so not all the bugs are out of it yet. Cracked windshields and chipped paint happens on all cars. It isn't the car it is your driving habbits. Follow to close and you will get stones on your hood and windshield. :monkey:

Common, that is a little condescending! It's not like all Subaru owners with excessive chips tailgate or don't take care of their paint! Besides, I get nailed more by rocks and road debris on two lane highway going head to head with trucks.

As for glass, my new aftermarket window has been on my car longer than my stock one and still no chips or cracks. Must be better glass because that's the only varible that has changed!

CEL - ECU upgrade - dealership handled it great
Chipped windshield - several small places.
Chipped Paint.
Fender Liner tabs broken


Nothing serious though.
