Unseenpunk 09-03-2006, 11:37 PM No im talking about the whole thing, metal tube and the filter not just replacing the stock filter and keeping the plastic/rubber tube attached to the engine. Will that void it? whateverwrx 09-04-2006, 01:05 AM it cant void your warranty unless your MAF sensor goes bad because of the oil in the filter. then they can say it caused the failure. imo intakes are a waste Blue06STI 09-04-2006, 01:13 AM It really depends on the dealer you go to...I would just call the serivce manager and ask him...thats what I did and he said, I could do an intake and cat-back on my 06 ScoobyNubieToo! 09-04-2006, 01:37 AM Is there an SPT intake for the 06 Impreza 2.5i? If so, then that's your safest bet.... whateverwrx 09-04-2006, 02:06 AM actually the Cobb intake is your safest bet due to its design to not to alter MAF readings. just save your stock parts in case you need warranty work done ;) gloves 09-16-2006, 11:52 AM non of it really matter...the only thing ur CAI or short ram will void is the intake warrenty...i asked when i got my car and the dealer is NOT mod friendly...they can tell what caused the issue and most likely nothing would ever be cause from a better intake system...if you are really worried about it keep your old stuff and put it on if you need to bring it in for some reason... arfrce 09-19-2006, 01:01 AM I like the prodrive set up. But I agree keep the stock for the warr. work done. My two cents though |
