hey guys im new here. but i have a question i am returning my subaru to the dealership because its makin a serious knocking noise when it starts, and i have a powertrain warrenty. i had a stage 3 turbo xs upgrade on it TXS turbo back exhaust with perine uppipe, TXS shorty ram intake, TXS b.o.v, and the TXS UTEC computer made about 327 to the engine, 255 to the wheels, not to bad. but i took all the **** off the computer the b.o.v and the boost controller. the only thing that i have on it is the exhaust and the shorty ram intake. you think they are gonna give me some problems about them not doing it because of the **** that is on it, like the intake and the exhaust. hit me up with some info
I hope they deny your claim and any others associated with your car. Gotta pay to play. People like you who mod their cars then convert them back to stock or almost stock to get SoA to cover a warranty claim make it harder for the rest of us who are honest to get claims covered. Ass.

Wrong forum...but
They will be able to tell what was taken off the vehicle. It would have been better for you to leave it on.
Be prepared to authorize teardown to determine cause of what is wrong. If it is deemed not warranty, you will be responsible for at least the teardown.
Just by your mod list, if it turns out to be a major repair, (like a rod knock), in my experience, it won't be covered.

Yep,
Dealers are not stupid. I hope they throw you on the coals for attempting to de-fraud SOA.

Just go in and tell them about the Moss Magnusson Act and how THEY have to PROVE your modifications caused the problem. LOL!
