View Full Version : Hey you wagon owning freaks!!!!
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 09:40 PM We here at TiC know you're not really freaks. In fact, most wagon owners are nice, thoughtful, considerate, polite, well read, and articulate folks. But we do have a bit of bone to pick with you. See, there's a whole bunch of parts that we have (and have had for quite some time) that will work great on the wagons, but we still see threads titled like the following:
"Where to get parts for the wagon?"
"Wagon parts - where to get?"
"Parts for my wagon - why can I no get them?"
"Sedans are teh ghey. Wagons roxors, but I don't know where to get teh partses."
"Oontzoontzoontzoontzwagonparts?"
"My wagon RUUUUUUUUUUUULES, but I don't know where to get parts."
Personally, we think it's because wagon owners don't know where to go for some wagon loving. And we loves the wagons. As part of the upcoming wagon love month we are pleased to bring you the comprehensive list of every single suspension (and suspension helping) part we have in stock as of right now that will work on the wagon.
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 10:43 PM First off is the 6Gun Racing Ball Joint Adapter. These are brand new, and we only have one (1) in stock right now until some more get out to us next week. If you haven't been following what these do then you really need to check them out. They will help fix the crappy camber curve of the impreza, PLUS these take care of the bumpsteer problems as well.
Price is $400 shipped for free in the US.

Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 10:47 PM Next up is Kartboy's rear endlinks. Got a wagon? Then you've got junk plastic rear endlinks, and you need (not want - this is much deeper, you NEED) these. Don't believe me - there's a reason the subaru boards are crawling with rabid Kartboy fans. It's not by coincidence.
Anyway the rears go for $100 and shipping in the US is free.
Here's the link:

Pic a couple of posts down...
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 10:49 PM Of course we can't talk about endlinks without talking about Kartboy's new Wagon front links. Like the rears these things are serious when it comes to stiffness. Oh, and the wagon guys have to very unfortunate experience of having plastic links up front too. Not good.
These also go for $100 shipped for free in the US.
Here's the link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=121
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 10:51 PM Ok, so what good is carrying both fronts and rears if you don't bundle them to save a few? Well, it does not good. That's why there's a Wagon endlink combo. Ships in the US for $180.
Here's the link:
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=122
Oh, and here's a pic of the endlinks to give you an idea of what I've been talking about for the past three posts.
http://turninconcepts.com/images/all_kb_links_big.jpg
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 10:53 PM OH Hey!! How about some Whiteline steering rack bushings? These help keep the steering rack centered, and prevent memory steer.
We've got two flavors:
02-04: http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=47 (US ships for $28)
05+: http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=59 (US ships for $51 on the new ones)
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 10:58 PM Oh, and what about the Whiteline Anti-lift kits?
Sure - comfort or sport? We've got both. Right now we've got two of the sports and 8 of the comforts in stock. Either ships in the US for $190.
Linky for comfy: http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=140
Linky for sporty: http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=135
Picy for either (they look pretty much the same):
http://turninconcepts.com/images/KCA362_big.jpg
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 11:08 PM So, while we're at it let's see if we can firm up that wagon's rear end a bit:
Whiteline rear subframe lock bolts - $28 shipped in the US - http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=141
While we're at it, let's throw a little something extra in here for the wagon -
Did you know that Kartboy's rear subframe outrigger bushings fit the wagon? Well, they do, and we've got some in stock. They ship in the US for $32. Here's the link: http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=23
Oh, and we certainly, can't mention Tom's bushings without mentioning our own. Afterall, we worked hard on them so we should show them off a little bit. These ones are for the 02+ Impreza Wagons (sorry old school guys). Here's our Rear Diff Mount Bushings. These replace the stupidly soft bushings in teh rear diff dogbone. They go for $40 shipped in the US - http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?&products_id=17
Ah heck, why not just go all out, and get what we call the Klunk Killer. It fits really purdy on the wagons, really stiffens things up. What you get is the KB outrigger bushings, and the TiC rear diff mount bushings in one package. It saves you a couple of bucks, but doesn't really save you any shipping since that's already free in the US. Anyway, the Klunk Killer goes for $70 - http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=24
Here's a pic of what this bad boy looks like:
http://turninconcepts.com/images/tic_klunk_killer_02.jpg
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 11:15 PM Oh, and hey, as long as you're at it you should just get yourself a set of the Kartboy tranny crossmember bushings. They replace the bubblegum subaru thought was such a great idea in the tranny crossmember subframe.
These are really easy, and go for a paltry $30, and on top of that we do free shipping in the US. I mean how nuts is that?

Picy:

Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 11:20 PM Now, how about a little bit of bracing? We happen to have our very nice, and quite front end impoving Giuyngmyo Fender Cowl Braces in stock. These bad boys really stiffen the chassis up front, and make your front suspension do more of what it's supposed to do - suspension stuff. See, the chassis is no good for suspension stuff, and getting frame members to act as springs is a bad thing.
Anyway, our braces go for $95 (ship... us... blah blah blah...)

Blurry pic (I'm not a photodudeapher):
http://turninconcepts.com/images/tic_fcb_1_big.jpg
Turn in Concepts 09-14-2006, 11:24 PM Ok, so let's say you want the braces AND the endlinks....
Well, our rodents have got you covered on that one.
TiC Suicidal Squirrel - Wagon Edition - gets you the fender cowl braces AND the Kartboy wagon front endlinks. All for a very nutty price of $180.
http://turninconcepts.com/product_info.php?products_id=133
http://turninconcepts.com/images/squirrel1_big.jpg
And don't forget, there's also the Crazy Chipmunk - This one gets you the braces and teh Kartboy rear endlinks. Same nutty $180 on this one.

http://turninconcepts.com/images/crazy_chip1_big.jpg
Turn in Concepts 09-15-2006, 12:00 AM Ok, so those Kartboy endlinks are SO beefy that you really feel that your puny stock swaybars just aren't making them work enough. I mean come on - you and I both know the kartboy endlinks wouldn't even break a sweat with the stock bars.
What? You don't believe me? I tell you what, go flog your wagon at the next autocross, and then take a look at the Kartboy endlinks you just ordered, and will install as soon as they arrive. I'll bet they're not even close to sweating.
Ok, so what can you do to make those nice new endlinks really do some real work. Well, we suggest you upgrade your swaybars.
First up, we have one (1) Whiteline BSF12Z in stock. This is a 22mm front bar for the WRX wagon. Price is set at $146 shipped for free in the US.

If the price was right, my wagon could use one of these quick release rear bars too. I parked the other day on a hill, and the hatch was a full 1/2" off from closing, had to move the car to get it shut. Some support back there should at least help.
Erik

The one that we've been selling that clears the 06 TMIC might fit, but I do not know for sure. Besides - the fender cowl braces will be of greater benefit...
