Anyone else have severe wheel bearing problems?
BTW, exploding bearings at 75MPh do not make for an easily controllable vehicle.

M.S.P.T 11-02-2001, 07:38 AM did you have legacy rear wheel bearings installed? dave bluesubie 11-02-2001, 10:53 AM I'll bet they're not being installed properly. There was a notice sent to the dealers about this. Some dealers were over torquing them, IIRC. I'm not sure if it's in the form of a TSB or not. Dennis Geoff 11-02-2001, 10:51 PM I'd think that as well, but -6- dealerships? Subaru's probably suggesting using legacy bearings since they know there's a flaw in the bearing design. Do I sense a cover up? I think I do. |
