A friend of mine has a 2002 IS300. He just got the car out of the body shop (2 toned and Ltuned body) I want yellow foglights in my 04 WRX. Ive used hella ion yellow replacement bulbs for quite a while now and they just arent yellow enough. So.. he gives me his old fogs and i went to town on these puppies till there was nothing left but a yellow projector lens. The lens can be swapped with the lens in our fogs because it is the exact same size... and are mounted to the inside of the foglight in the same manner. My only question here is after popping the 2 black clips off our fog housing, how do I get the large glass cover off the front of the housing without breaking it with a hammer??

I'm not 100% certain, but I'd imagine you have to bake the housings in the oven as you would with the headlights to pull the assembly apart.
Put them on an oven tray, bake at 200 degrees for 10 minutes, take em out, pry em apart. Once you've managed to put the new lense in, repeat the process, take em out, stick em together.

Btw, thanks for letting us know that the IS300's yellow lenses will fit our foglights...this is a must do for me ;) I used to have an IS300 and I miss the yellow fogs :(
