My wife was closing the rear tail gait on our Legacy and in the process the rear red plastic "SUBARU" panel cracked. Now everytime it rains or we drive through a car wash the inside of the tail gait fills with water. My dealer said that it was caused by owner use and not covered by warrenty, should I press this further.
To replace it it would be $250ish or should I buy a JDM spec piece that has "LEGACY" instead of Soob for about $300ish.
