POSSIBLE SCAM

i believe i have been scammed by silentdawn. I set up a deal with him over a month ago to exchange $50 for a three gauges and a pilliar pod. i sent him a check for 50 bucks, he cashed it, and he claims he sent the package via usps on monday, oct 29th. i have yet to see the package. I sent him a pm last weekend that said i was going to report him this week if he didnt show proof that he sent the gauges. he has yet to respond to it. i dont know if he is out of town or what, but to prevent this from happening to other people i am posting this. His real name is Stephen and i have is adress. any ideas on what i should do?

You need to stay all over this guy. I bought my Megan headers from him and he had every excuse in the book. I followed him from site to site, PM'd the moderator for the MAIC moderator, put wanted posts up all over the boards. After the excuse of his GF not shipping it (oldest excuse in the books) and threatening him ( promissing him) a police visit, I finally got my headers.
Be proactive on him and he will probably come through.
My thread was posted here on the scammer central, but was removed once I got my headers.

You also need to take my advice that I posted above. He uses the same UN in several forums, follow him around and ask for help from his local members.
Prior to my transaction he had another slow transaction, I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
If you vigorously persue him, it will probably turn out in your favor.

That's funny!! I just paid him for a turbo xs adaptor and Still don't have it....And i emailed him twice and he never email me back...That's just great....Well i guess i will contact paypal if i don't hear something soon....Man this sucks.......

I had to be a little more pushy and follow him to scooby mods and post there, just to make sure he didnt sell my headers to someone else. Also paypal and told him I would contact his local police.
Between all of the above something woke him up. He tried to use the excuse that he gave the header and money to ship to his GF and she spent the money.....
Anyway stay on him to keep him honest. Nick really needs to figure out a way to ban members like this from selling on this site.

Police wont touch this. You need to utilize all of your means and put paypal disputes in.
I have been through this 3 times, one time with this member. Put some pressure on him, follow him to scooby mods, he uses the same Un there.

You have to read the comments that go alson with the feedback. If you will look at my transaction with him you would see I left comments to include there was a problem but I eventually got my headers.
