View Full Version : Subaru's 4pots Brakes 4Runner 11-07-2001, 01:23 PM Does installing of 4pots brakes from subarupart.com void any warranty? ANZAC_1915 11-07-2001, 02:31 PM There is a small chance they may not replace rotors due to any defect (whether this is fair or not I cannot say). They're also not going to warranty the new calipers and pads, of course. :) I'd say other than that you're fine. Glenn North Ursalia 11-07-2001, 03:30 PM If you get the calipers/rotors/foo from a Subaru parts department (ie: Mike@Exeter, Sugar, or Subaruparts.com) they will most certainly be covered by the 12 months parts warranty ;). I don't think they warranty pads at all though. Brian http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com http://www.imprezamods.com http://www.scoobymods.com Don't whiz on the electric fence! ANZAC_1915 11-07-2001, 10:50 PM I would think the situation on the calipers is a little fuzzier as they were never fitted to a US market car. Do they get them via SOA/FHI or direct from Japan? Glenn |
