Does anyone with a wrx have a problem with the passenger side floor carpet not laying flat above the ecu and kickplate.

My old car didn't have that problem but the new one does.

How many miles/how old?

PS it isn't carpet, it is fuzzy cardboard.

I have a 2002 WRX wagon with 1100 miles on it. The felt looks like there is too much material, I took it to the dealer and they wanted to glue it to the kickplate. When I asked how anyone would get to the ecu if they did that theyre reply was "uh I dont know"

You could try refitting it yourself.

Remove the scuff plate etc, I think there are two "plastic screws" that hold the front right corner down (above and to the right of the ECU).

I think it can get kinked up the top and make it sit up a bit down lower.
