I'm driving out on payday. My DEROS month is November, so I'm leaving ASAP to avoid some Canadian snow, and be home (Kentucky) in-time for my first thanksgiving with my parents since 2002.

Hah, I wish! I don't think I'll have much room between my bags, my dad's bags (my co-driver), a set of tires, and lots of extra road supplies for the Alcan (cargo straps, bottle jacks, generic "roadside safety kit", extra washer fluid, extra coolant, extension cord for the block heater, 5gal gas can, etc)

sorry we missed it. was a hellish day at work so by the time i got home (7:30 pm) we didn't feel like going anywhere. :(

Thanks everybody! My dad and I are leaving tomorrow morning. We're going to be driving "safely" and have relatively short driving days, but it should still only be like 11-12 days, including sightseeing on the way. Don't worry, there are two digital cams between us, so I'll post them on here when I get home!
