I got my modified Valvebody and Torque Converter back from IPT a few days ago, and at the moment I can't afford to put them back in the car, and need the money. So I'm putting them up for sale.
They were modified and installed at 40,000 miles, and used for approx 300 miles when I had something unrelated die in my tranny, the tranny was replaced and the units were sent back to IPT for inpsection. IPT inspected, cleaned, and tested the units and has sent them back and verified that they are in complete working order, and were not the cause of the other tranny problem (which had been present before the mod). IPT can verify this.
They have been unboxed for inspection and pictures, but never re-installed since I got them back. I'm looking to get $900 for the pair, or $450 each.
They're out of a 2005 Forester XT. I'll have to double check with the part numbers, but from the research I did before it seemed that they were the same part number as the 2003-2006 4EAT WRX's, and the Turbocharged 2003-2006 4EAT Legacies. If you're seriously interested I'll be happy to find out and make sure that the P/N's match before selling the units.
The Valvebody does have a damaged electrical connector, but it's just the plastic housing, and would work fine just being taped in place (according to Jon (Tie) at IPT).
