I've seen three. One in MI, one in NV, and one in CA.

I've only seen one, in Maryland! The are rare! Most 98 RS's that I've seen were Rally Blue Pearl, or Bright Red.

There was a Green RS for sale on RT. 114in Peabody about a month ago.. It wasn't at a Subaru Dealership, but it was displayed out front on a Rock at the entrance so it was seen by everyone driving by, and into their parking lot. I am not sure if its still there though.

Saw one 2 days ago driving behind me in downtown Detroit. the guy waved and I guess he was from out of state cause he did not look like he had michigan plates. also saw a blue RS sedan that same day.. i guess it was an Impreza RS day for me.

There's one here in Omaha.. It's got the Minnam Stage 2 Turbo kit on it too.

The owner has dissappeared lately, but spring is here and he has re-surfaced and I got an e-mail from him this week. Check our region site of MWSOC for pics of his car soon.. I will get pics.

Strangely enough, the first RS I ever saw was a green one. I didn't know Subaru had even brought the RS here until I saw the green RS at an autocross during the summer of '98. I wanted one. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

I've seen 3 Green MY98, and only 1 Bright Red MY98... not that that is a scientific study, but I'm willing to guess that the Bright Red MY98 is just as rare, if not more so.

(Along the same lines, I wouldn't be surprised to here that more Blaze Yellow MY02 WRXs are sold than Sondona Red ones)

those are some funky orange fogs...anyone know where you could get them? i'd be more interested if they came in yellow maybe...just out of curiousity

Along with the MY98 green we've got a MY98 red, MY 99-01 red, MY98-01 black, MY99 blue, MY00-01 blue, MY99-01 silver, the only thing missing in Omaha is a White one! I wish I had money to pick up a second RS in white, as that was the orginal color I was going to go with, but alas found my car and it was too good a deal to pass up.

The owner of that first Green RS Pictured above bought the car with 13K miles on it and has but 10K on it, so it only has 23K miles! To add to the rareness (is that a word?) it's an AUTOMATIC. How many of those do you think were made!!!
