I will probably be game, I am allowed to drive again on Weds and have my new tranny installed. I am also in some severe need of social interaction(I know, it's hard to believe but I have basically been house ridden for two weeks).

Sounds good, I have never tried the 18yo Glenmorangie.

I happen to have a collection right now...Working on a 10 year glenmorangie(not too bad, much better than that glenfiddich crap). I have an un-opened 12 year Glenlivet(One of my favorites and best bang for the buck) and a beautiful 15 year Dalwhinnie which I have not tried but it's suppose to be really good(Best of all it's a 80$ bottle of scotch that I got for free).

I make no claims that I am any good at playing pool, so I freely admit that you all will most likely hand my ass to me.

No doubt! Scotch is not generally the drink of choice when you want to get hammered but it's a good buzz...worst hangovers ever. This is a special edition 1 litre bottle...should last me a good long time.

Just a heads up....It is going to be real busy because of the canucks game. The earlier we get there and secure a table the better. Game is at 7pm...place will most likely be pretty packed by 6:30.

The new shoes look good...stealth mode. It's amazing what difference a set of wheels can make to the appearance of the car. Still taking some time to get used to the winter tires...radical change after the Falken RT-615s. Steering seems sooo light now.

Only problem with the new shoes....very heavy compared to my OZ's...Jason was complaining about his back - but I think that he was hoping for a tip for me making him work so hard! ;) (just kidding BTW, Dales Alignment (http://www.dalesalignment.com) FTW!

meets downtown or in western part of the lower mainland do happen, just wait, there'll likely be at least one before Christmas or during Christmas time.

But for us folks in Abbotsford or Langley or even myself in Maple Ridge it's easier to set up and go to "Valley" meets. There's a different feel for the meets out here too. Something about what Hypa said :cool: Maybe it's because there aren't many Subaru girls to begin with, or maybe it's a good ways eastward and a long drive (especially during rush hour), or maybe the guys just don't bring girls to these, but either way they don't seem to come out to Valley meets.

wings meets, wagon meets, downtown meets, whatever, I don't care what others do. But our tuner meets are a sacred time for us to get away from the women in our lives.

If I told my wife a chick came to our meets, then what's stopping her from wanting to come? What about your wife? What about girlfriends? Next thing you know, world's have collided and our sacred time will be gone.

If I organize a tuner's meet, assume it's for guy's only. This is something that's been brought up before with the regulars, and we all agreed to it.
