Greetings,
My Hella FF1000 HID lights just arived and I'm stoked!
I'm using the Hella foglamp mount for putting them into my '02 WRX, but am not sure of the correct way to wire them.
Can someone PLEASE :D tell me how to wire these lights up so that I can send power to them with the stock foglight switch, yet only have them come on when I'm using my highbeams?
I figure this setup would allow me to use my high beams without the Hellas when I want, but by switching on the foglight switch I'll be able to have the Hellas turn on and off by switching my highbeams on and off.
Thanks for all the help, and wiring diagrams :D, you can provide.
Sincerely,

the stock foglight switch takes a relay signal from the lowbeams, if you search for fog switch diagram i'm sure you can figure out which wire corresponds to what...
what you'll need to do is switch the source of that wire from lowbeam current to highbeam current...
however you should be aware that igniting the HID's in rapid succession, or letting them cool for less than ten minutes before lighting them again, will damage them over time and you'll be left with some very expensive broken essential parts.
if i were you i'd install a switch that would be independant of the highbeam circuit entirely so that if you want to flash your highbeams (flash-to-pass) or know you won't want your highs off for long, you can still use your highbeams and not have to deliver such a huge shock to the HID system by cycling them with many ignitions without proper warm-up and cool-down cycles.

I forget where the wiring diagram is at, but you can just mod your foglight system to remain on regardless of high or low beam. I will look for the diagram, but I think if you search for foglight mod it should come up with it.

To the OP:
Greetings,
I'm using the Hella foglamp mount for putting them into my '02 WRX,
Is this the bracket you're using?
http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/B000JM7XAO.01-A1DTVAJD060G6V._AA200_SCLZZZZZZZ_V37945375_.jpg
I just ordered a pair of FF1000 driving lights but haven't chosen a solution to mount them to the car yet (06 WRX). Does anyone know if these brackets can mount on my car? Do they mount in the fot light bezel? Or on the bumper in front of the grill?
Thanks. Sorry for the hijack...

Greetings,
Don't worry about a hijack, its all good info ;)
The dedicated WRX bracket differs from the one you've shown where the slotted portion is replaced with 2 large "arms" that extend about 6" and at 90 degrees from each other.
I'll still take all the wiring assistance anyone is willing to share :p
