Going to be taking delivery of my 2006 lmtd wagon this week, still have choice between two colors. Obsidian Black Pearl and Steel Grey Metallic.

You would think I could stop being a bisnatch and pick one but I have heard so many pros and cons for both colors, when I see a clean black one positioned well, ITS AMAZZZZZING, but then I think about keeping it clean, and swirls and scratches, but sometimes the Steel Grey looks cheap to me, and kinda ordrinary, can any one influence me with some good pictures of both, or give some imput....derrrrr why is this so harrrdd:confused:

i had the same problem when choosing black on a car. but if you buy the right detailing materials. those swirls will be gone in an instant. i have a cgm and i didnt really like the sgm because it doesnt shine as much as the crystal. but sgm is still a nice color, i would go with the black though.

If you have alot of time to spare cleaning/detailing your car and your actually dedicated to doing it then i say go with the black. Also, the SGM can look really sweet after a nice wax and it will be ALOT easier to keep it that way too.

The steel grey is really sweet....I think it looks hot on the wagon! Subie paint is REAL crap....and is especially noticable on a dark car, such as black. It'll look like crap within a few months :( Unless you buff/shine it regularly.

Mines white...not the hottest colour (well, it was the last one) but it's great for scratches/swirls...makes em invisible! :D
