I just got one of these and I saw a post that they dont work?...I havent got the gauge yet (it's on order) but I already got the wiring done going to the CPU. I turned on the car and checked the voltages coming from the CPU/ signal O2 sensor and everyting seemed to be right. This will work, wont it?

See this-

and the many other A/F gauge threads. If you're installing this on a turbo car (please add your vehicle information to your profile) it will do nothing useful.
What did you wire to exactly? You can NOT tap the front 02 sensor on a turbo engine.

I tapped the signal wire from the rear o2 sensor at the ecu. B17 if I remember right.

send it back, get your money back if you can. it won't provide any data.

I'm not making any crazy mods to the car....It's a analog one so it's not an annoying light show. From what I've been reading it could be good just for the information of knowing if the car in constantly running in a lean condition.....correct?

No, because you don't get any useful A/F information from the rear 02 sensor. Especially on a stock car where that sensor is behind the catalytic converters.
Also if you're not doing any significant engine-related mods there is no need to be monitoring A/F even with a wideband.

I basically got this gauge for looks, I bought a 3 pod set up so I got the boost gauge and the voltmeter so instead of oil pressure or temp I got the A/F.

Oil pressure or temp will be much, much more useful.

There's a reason some people call them the "happy disco light gauge".

Or in this case, "happy dancing needle gauge". ;)
