Hey cool, I'm considered old skool.

MY00 baby!

I think everyone is just in the general or more specified forums. With a general general, most questions (non-technical) seem to be asked/answered there. IMO

edit: forgot to put the word "non-technical" in there.

bah... i just miss the old school ppl....

not to knock on new age owners(i'm one too)... but many ppl there are not totally enthusiasts....

plus.. old school ppl have more info.. :D and links.. and movies.. etc....

sooo.. you envy my turbo?;)

No, we just know where to post ;). Oddly enough, questions like "WRX Clutch "Shudder" Question.....Again" we know belong in the magical transmission forum, not in general ;)!

Yeah, we just like posting in the correct forums, and it just happens that most of our questions are technical. :)

I think that may be true. Or everyone sold their RS and bought a WRX.

I've also noticed another trend...when is the last time you saw a member number below 2000 post? Trivial, but I'm curious.

I counted 5 in this post, with 4 under 1000. We're still out here ;)

There are a lot of members under 2000 in TXIC, plus yeah I am with the suggestion we know everything, plus we don't NEED or whina about not having an "old-school non technical" forum:devil:

Anyone else finding more and more RS parts being sold in the "personal classifieds" and less and less being sold in the "vendor classifieds" :( :(
I fear a total evolution of the club and our species becoming extinct

while my wonderful member number is 6k plus i have always been an enthusiast. I never knew about the site until i worked with RSFreak around this time last year.

But i will NEVER abondon my RS for a WRX.

I am here to stay.

eric- I do notice that and also FEAR the extinction of the true enthusiats. Seeing as how the "strightline" trend is taking hold more and more.

because the general questions/concerns over RSs is over, its now the WRXs age for whats with this rattle, etc. we old schoolers are still kicking but im more inclined to check the Aftermarket forced induction forum. i pretty much know what to do, where to look for it, how much it will cost, so why bother posting? and if im not sure what to do i just ask my fellow RS-T iclubbers.

Yeah, I'd agree with the notion that most of us post in the technical forums.

As for member number, it's somewhat irrelevant. Otherwise, I could start pounding my chest...

At least until Alex and Nick came in here and put the smack down. :D

I agree, I _DO_ know everything... more or less... about many topics here... it gets tiresome to post the same things over and over... 8Complex can attest to this, mister million posts...

As to member nums under 1000- Check it!

I'm old skool, but I don't know anything, which is why I never post. I prefer to absorb information by osmosis.

I find Jon [in CT] to be knowledgeable and helpful by reading some of his posts. Of course, I don't know the guy. However, I don't quite understand the friction between some of you and Jon, and I don't really care to be honest. I just wish the moderators would step in and stop this madness from continuing.
