Has anyone has the issue of gas pump stopping when its full, but some gas still coming out of the filler. I have had this happen to me the last two times I fill up. Also I immediatly wipe it off, but how bad is this on your paint?

Takes any wax off but, if you flush with water and dry you will have no problems.

Thanks, but has anyone had this problem? It seems like any nozzle I go to won't go all the way into the filler.

I never had that problem with my 05 WRX but i have had the pump not shut off correctly.

I have a similar problem but different- I cannot fill the car faster than a trickle or the pump shuts off. I think there is something wrong with the anti-siphon valve at the op of the tank. If you remove the filler neck and shove a piece of 3/8" gas line into the hose into the tank you can push against the anti-siphon valve. So far it has not fixed my problem though.

I think your valve is stuck open and mine is stuck closed. Wanna switch?

I've had this happen a couple times on my 04 wrx. The gas pump shuts off and then gas comes pouring out for a second leaking all over my paint:mad:

It's only happened to me at 76 stations though, although I still go their sometimes since its by my house and hasn't happened for a while. I always make sure I push in the nozzle as far as it goes
