im in the process of draiing my tranny fluid as we speak. ive read lots of threads where it says you should drain it over night for for several hours. but its only been about 30 min and its slowly dripping out now. does that sound right? if thats the case, id let it drain for another hour or so. thanks!

Sounds right. I assume that you drained it warm, which helps.

i just came back from lunch and nothing is coming out.

my engine was warm but not the tranny. i literally moved my car from the driveway to the street thats it.

but the rear is on ramps and the front is on jackstands which is about an inch of so lower so maybe that declination helped.

just put in the new fluid.

i can finally downshift into 1st at 20mph now :banana:
