bessie 11-18-2006, 07:33 PM Pop the trunk up and let the water drip out? That's what I do...
stentorian 11-18-2006, 07:45 PM It's because your car is black;)

Hank3 11-18-2006, 10:09 PM I use a leafblower to dry my car. All the nook and cranny areas that drip water are completely dry when I'm done
WRXDriftR 11-19-2006, 02:02 AM drive around the block after doing a quick dry.
then dry it thoroughly so the car is already blow dried

Black cars statistically have more water droplets? ;)

06BlackSTIwith550WHP 11-19-2006, 01:32 PM take an air compresser after drying and spray the wing where it meets the trunk then re dry that spot. I do this to my car on the wing gap, scoop, headlights, taillights, side mirrors, door jams, vane spoiler, inside the gas lid, open the trunk lid and do that whole thing, thats all folks

^^^ Best idea if you don't own a leaf blower or an air compressor, or if you don't feel like bringing them out everytime you wash your car. Also slam you doors a little to free up the water in the areas around the mirrors and door handles.
06_Aspen_STI 11-19-2006, 02:04 PM Pop the trunk up and let the water drip out? That's what I do...
^that's what I do and it works well
prometheum 11-19-2006, 02:36 PM 100mph blow dry
WRX4eva 11-19-2006, 03:39 PM SLAM THE TRUNK 100TIMES LMAO~
Nah seriously, Open the trunk and wait till stops dripping, then clean window and rest of trunk and bumper. It works for me.
Subie Gal 11-19-2006, 03:42 PM do 1 of 2 things
quick drive before drying
or open/close the trunk several times for a couple of minutes at a time.

darknightohio 11-19-2006, 04:53 PM just hit the waterspots with a quick detailer and a microfiber.

I do the same thing.
iri_tuan 11-19-2006, 08:19 PM i would just blow air into the area that holds the water, such as the side mirrors. The doors and the trunk i would just open and close them repeated until i got all the water out.
Thaddy 11-19-2006, 08:57 PM Drive it. I get my car handwashed a few blocks away, then drive back to my place where I spend some more time waxing it and doing some other cleaning.
