I've got an OEM Lamco Boost gauge, the hose, tee fitting, and wiring harness. I'm looking to sell this along with possibly trade steering column tops.

Sorry for the crappy camera phone pics... I figured any pics were better than none.

Still got it?

I'm doing a turbo swap in my '00 RS next year, really want one of these... Certainly don't want to pay SPT's $237 retail price. ;)

I don't know if the steering column cover in an '02 is the same as what I've got.... Anyway I'm shopping around for one of these so reply or PM me.

Yup, still got it. I just took it out of the car this weekend. I have no idea if the column covers are the same but I'm going to guess not. If you still want just the gauge it'll just be a little more as I'll have to go about buying a new column cover. The gauge will of course come with the pod, screws & bracket for mounting. Along with the obvious wiring and hose.

I'll see if I can find out about the column fitment. I know several people used these in late-model GC/GM/GF cars back when the WRX hit North America, so the 2002-2003 column may be identical. I'll get back to you.

In the meantime, out of curiosity, why the sale?

I just bought a set of Maddad Clarity v2 RX Gauges and mounted them in the center clock pod. I don't need two boost gauges so I'm getting rid of this one. I assure you it worked when I took it out.

Yeah I'm sure, I was just curious. :)

Hey sorry about the late reply. Thanksgiving and all.

*burp!*

:P

Quick question, when did you buy this thing? Or did you buy your car new and get this as an option?

I read in another thread that later versions had better accuracy and backlighting, that's why I ask. I guess they were revised for 2004 or 2005, not sure which year exactly.

It came on my car, that I bought used. It did however look that it was not installed by the factory so I don't honestly know what year it's from. The backlighting was not perfect, the bottom part was slightly dimmer than the top but it was never really that hard to see during the night. Also, I can't vouch for the accuracy of the gauge but it read the same as my new Maddad Clarity V2 Rx gauge (max boost anyways, this gauge is in mpa.)

Well... I don't even know the actual visual difference between the two, just what I heard from I think Mulder in the electronics forum the other day.

I think I'll hold off for now, thought about it a bit yesterday but didn't have the chance to email you. It was an impulse purchase thought anyway, I mean I'll need one but I don't even have the engine yet. :)

If it doesn't sell in a couple weeks though, drop me a line and we shall see. :D

well these don't seem to be a hot item so it'll probably be here for awhile. I figure someone might pick it up if theirs dies or something.

Hot it may not be, but I like how they look, not gaudy or offensive. And they do what they're supposed to. :)
