Well I got my first cel today. I've had the car since new (03 wrx) and been running AP stage 2 for about 2 years now without any problems. I was warming the car up tonight cause it's been cold out. After 20 min. I get inside and there was the cel. Code from AP reads P0302. I did new plugs about 2k miles ago and the car has 45k on it. What could of caused this?

302-misfire cylinder 2

Lots of things can cause a misfire or the ecu to report one. The plugs/plug install would be a good first place to start lookin for a problem.

Yeah, I was thinking of checking the plugs. The #2 cylinder is the one by the battery right?? Sorry for the dumb question.

Thats right, looking at the motor from the front of the car it is numbered left to right and front to back. Visualize the below "diagram" when looking at the motor.

I checked the #2 cylinder plug and it looked as though it was a bit loose. I tightened it up and so far no cel. Hopefully that was it and it won't come back. Thanks for your help guys.
