i found a chip called "SUPERCHIP (http://www.mspt.net/item.jhtml?UCIDs=807984%7C968760&PRID=1023468)
this place is almost right down the road from me. the only thing is when i went to buy my WRX i kinda fought with the sales guy, he insulted my jeep (said the subies awd system is new technology and i proved him wrong)

is this what the unichips are supposed to do? "INCREASE HORSE POWER AND TORQUE BY INCREASING BOOST, AND ADJUSTING FUEL PULSE!"?

Do a search for the Unichip. I strongly recommend doing your homework first when it comes to the ECU.

Superchip?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :eek:
Superchips cheat by removing the boost control level from 20psi and pretty much leaving your engine free to overboost and naff it up :(
We have had horror stories over here in the uk of them blowing engines up :( they basically boost you up too far and for the cost of a new engine it aint worth it (check out www.scoobynet.co.uk and check out the dyno figures, there is an my01 pushing 270bhp with a superchip and its the only one that spikes!! it also pushes 19psi, all the other chips, ie prodrive, link, motec and unichip dont seem to do this)
Ive just also given you the 4 chips you want to look at (dont know if you can get hold of a PPP chip thou).
