Do they make a took for suspension because im tryin to tighten the nut on the stut that holds it to the tophat. But the shock just twists.. I see that the bolt has flat sides do you can grab it so do they make a wrench thats open ny fits inside a tophat? anyone have one?

If i remember right you can put a allen key into the top of the strut and use a wrench to tighten it up

Ah thats only if its not adjustment knob thru the top.
I use a impact a few times. But I think its a 14mm box wrench that hold the damping rod. Depending on which strut you are using. Make sure to get a alignment done before driving it much.

this is on KYB AGX's.... its a 19mm nut and has a spot on top for a crescent or small wrench... couldnt get a box wrench in there

Go to the meet in the morning. See if they can zap it down for you with a impact and a torque bar.

You use an Impact on it it spins it faster than it can spin so it tightens ,Good luck

i had got a socket set at napa that has a hole straight through the top of the rachet. i used that to tighten the bolt while holding the shaft with a allen wrench. didn't use the impact at all

/\ that would work for stockers, not KYB's, they don't have the allen key hole. Put a dab of locktite on the nut to keep it from vibrating loose in a few 1000 miles. A quick zap with an impact is the easiest solution. The TQ spec isn't that high IIRC. ;)
