No kidding, first of all they didn't even know what they were talking about, then it turned into a swearing contest. I agree with you; I-club is sooooo much nicer.

Being the type of guy who usually finds profanity pretty funny, that thread did have it's moments. But Jesus, enough is enough. Even the moderator who closed the thread used some 'colorful' words.

Personally, I hate Subaru and their pos engines and their backwards design. Car companies only design their cars to make it through the warranty period ( domestics are an exeption)

I agree, Subaru's can't take any abuse, they're just fragile little road cars that break in two over a pothole.

I think a $12k Honda Civic has the best engine in the world too! They're so torquey! Goodness knows "Bavarian Motor Werks" doesn't know anything about building engines! Or *gasp* the over-build Nissan power plants!

You know guys, by criticizing ClubSi I find you no more "mature" or "civilized" than any of those on that board.
Do you want to know why the link didn't work? The reason it did not come up was because the webmaster erased it. Why? Because his girlfriend has a WRX and he often peruses the boards at I-Club. When he saw what jerks you guys were be'ing he erased the link out of irritation. The webmaster at ClubSi has a fully built engine from Benson and a Vortech SC. He would easily wipe the floor with you guys. But he (did) respect you guys, and your site. He likes the WRX, and came here to get info on future mods for the car so he could soup it up. I guess your "better than though/pious" attitude just lost yourself a good guy for the site. And as for the rest of them, sure there are some punks on the website, and some newbies. But why don't you carry your big headed selves over to the "Got Boost" forum. It contains some of the most informed bunch of guys I have ever met on the subject of FI.
I was getting a WRX but am now waiting on the WRX STi, or a Lancer EVO VII. But I don't believe I will be coming back to these boards. Good thing there is a better WRX website in the works by a friend of mine.
You know, for a bunch of import enthusiast you guys sure sound like a bunch of redneck domestic lovers. Carrying on with the attitude that "no other car in the universe could beat my car". I pity the day you guys get your asses handed to you by some car you thought was not even worthy of your cars presence. If I had not already taken apart my built turbo'ed Si (286whp/200lbs torque/12.7@112mph) I would be inviting everyone of you out right now for an attitude check at the local dragstrip!
I pity the fool... Some of you just have your heads stuck in the sand. or maybe it just all comes down to jelousy...who knows...

p.s.Most members on ClubSi's site run from 18K-25K depending on if they have an Si/Prelude/ITR, not 12K. And yes, it is a good engine. R&D, and C&D have both said that Honda engines are some of the best in the world. Cant criticize facts...

With all due respect RoofusX, shut up. That's a load of BS. They were flat out making stuff up, it wasn't a contest between two cars it was WRX bashing. I don't care if the webmaster has a 15,000hp quad turbo AWD Civic, those guys were still idiots and wrong. You will never find a thread like that on the I-Club. Sure there are some diluted I-Club members, but the bashing never reaches that level of pure ignorance. Oh and your friend will not create a better WRX site than this, the people that come here make this site great. No amount of hot air, web design, or hp can create that.
