Washington, D.C., Monday, December 5, 2006 - Danica Patrick is the latest racing superstar to join the on-air team at XM Satellite Radio, the nation's number-one satellite radio company with more than seven million subscribers.

The IndyCar Series driver is now officially a member of the Andretti Green Racing (AGR) team, the winningest team in Indy Racing League (IRL) history. Patrick will co-host the exclusive XM Radio show "The Andretti Green Racing Hour" with AGR teammates Marco Andretti, Dario Franchitti, Bryan Herta, and Tony Kanaan, as well as AGR co-owner and IndyCar racing legend Michael Andretti.

The weekly, one-hour show debuts spring 2007 on the sports talk radio channel XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 143).

"I am thrilled to become part of both the Andretti Green Racing and XM Satellite Radio teams," said Patrick. "'The Andretti Green Racing Hour' promises to be much more than a racing show, featuring the team's experiences both on the track and off. They put the plug in there for the NASCAR show as if it makes the AGR a better commodity - it actually drags it down. The only thing more boring than watching NASCAR is listening to people talk about it. "Well, this last weekend we took the Number Eight Budweiser Chevy Monte Carlo out to the test track. It ran pretty good. We hope next week our race at Lowes Motor Speedway is good for the Number Eight Budweiser Chevy Monte Carlo too. It's been a good car for us so far, so we think it will be good next week too. The team has worked hard to get the Number Eight Budweiser Chevy Monte Carlo runnin' this good."

whats even funnier is, they only have NASCRAP for like 3 more weeks, then it goes to Sirius. They sure are trying to bleed that one dry.
