K, well my wife, knowing how much I love the WRC and subarus, has decided to buy us tickets to a rally next year, and we will already be in europe next summer.
I really want to go to the Finland Rally since it's the fastest and has the biggest jumps but is there any input you guys can offer me, maybe a better or cheaper rally that's closer?? Not sure where all we are going in Europe but i'm just trying to get some ideas to get it booked.

What months are you going to be there?
No point in recommending Portugal if you're going to be there in August for instance...

yeah same here, but Sweden is my 2nd choice.
My wife got us to Rally Finland in 2004. We flew out a week early and spent a few days in France and then up to Rally Finland for the competiton. If we were to do it all over again, we'd just go to Finland for the week. :)
Check out http://www.ultimaterallyworld.com for tickets and tour/guidance to almost any rally in Europe. :) They hooked my wife and I up in a big way, and are probably the main reason why we had so much fun there. They have much more knowledge of the events, locations, and where to be and how long it takes to get there than you could ever begin to guess at (ie: they have all the logistics of the event down to a science).

A bunch of us went to Rally Germany this year and had a blast. Fairly easy to get to and an all around good time in Trier.
http://images.m0nkey.org/rally/ has pics.
I think Rally Finland is next on the list (or Rally Poland if it makes it into the WRC) for places to go. I'd like to see Finland and it looks like the dirt and jumps would be fun. :)

It depends on what time of year you want to go...cold....warm or hot...
I went to Germany in 05 for WR...thru World Rally tours in England...
Finland would be cool...Monte Carlo is awesome..esp if you like to Gamble..;)...Sweden is the obvious choice..(Blond hair and blue eyes and THICK swedish female accent and I am done..:)..

I think we are going sometime in July or August but we're going with her parents so I don't know the exact dates yet or where we will be in Europe. As time goes on I will try and figure it all out and I've also been looking at www.rallytravel.com since they look like they have some good information as well. Thanks for all your input.
