HI! I'm new to nasioc! i'm old to evom and azawd. so a lot of you may know me. i'm Tim, and I drive what seems to be the only red evo viii in the state lol. I met a lot of you guys at the tortilla flatts run last week. I was the one in the '04 Z06. The reason i'm on here, is because I wanna get in on the meets, and let's face it.... an all subie meet is awesome, but you need the red headed stepchild to join in occasionally to mix things up a lil bit, right?

Dangers old crusty all-trac laid down 210-220whp on dc's dynodynamics...running very poorly. cars make power, but are heavy.

thats why I like the all trac. They're ugly like the fox body 5.0's. All business, no flare.

A lot of people don't like the looks of 'em, but I love it. And yes, my 18 year old Celica is significantly faster than my 8 year old RS, going to be doing a 185 motor swap and some other work on it over christmas break, hopefully you guys'll be seeing it on the track soon enough.

And I've got a topmount, it's just WtA ;) It actually cools a bit better than the stock 185 intercooler, but the ST205 is the car to have. I wish we could import 'em here...

And just to stay on topic, I do remember getting in a relatively heated discussion once with an Evo owner about our cars' rally-worthiness, and the AllTrac's record is pretty decent ;) Bang for the buck-wise, it's a decent car. If anybody does ever want one, let me know, since I keep tabs on pretty much all the alltracs in the state (all 3 or 4 of them.. lol) and I can let you know when one goes up for sale ;)

yeah i saw the black one for sale on craigslist, i want one bad, but it will be my girls daily so it needs to be reliable, after the new year and christmas :( ill be selling the vic so i need to make up my mind with what i will be buying her to drive, she drives like a bat out of hell sometimes, its great

Lol.. if it's the black 185 that was for sale a little while ago in Chandler I've talked to the past 3 owners of that car :P Woulda been a good one though. Sadly, with turbo AWD cars that old, there will always be at least some reliability issues

you would be wrong! i officially banned the all-trac from my house! it was being worked on too much. honestly, i love all-tracs, one of the first good awd turbo cars...but today they need lots of maintanence, and can be very difficult to work on/get parts.

lol no, you banned it because I dumped 5 quarts of oil on your driveway when my turbo feed lines weren't tight ;) Thankfully now I have my own garage to make a mess in. And that 185 was in pretty good shape, might have needed a turbo rebuild eventually but last time I rode in it, it seemed pretty good. They are kind of a pain to get parts for though, waiting 2 1/2 months for Koni to build the shocks I needed was kind of a pain....

st205 celica ftw...i used to own a 6th gen celica and was going to do a 3sgte motor swap in it (alltrac motor) before i got my STi..theres a vid on youtube of a 600hp st205 racing a STi and a 900hp supra and the celica owns them both.. lol

I think I've met you before... I was at Surge when you came down after you just got your car... I had the electric blue Evo.

my gawd that was a long time ago. or so it feels. i was gonna get a set of pads from there, but foundem online. i was still gonna get pads from surge untill I heard the price. I saved over a hundred bucks by buying it online. had it been like 20-30 difference, i woulda def. hit surge up.
