Hello All,

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d21/Nick4592/RMGFlyer.jpg

This is already an Annual Gathering for a VR-4 Club but all are welcome to come. Right now we are looking at hosting it in the middle of June. Likely the third weekend, 14th-18th. Something like that. During the timeframe, we are planning on renting Bandimeire for a day as well as the police training track in Golden for a road course / autocross. We are hoping to get around 100 cars for the drags and set it up as a kind of Import shoot out, this should allow everyone as many runs as they want. There is a Hotel that all of us will be staying at, we rented out our local Drag Strip (www.bandimere.com), we rented a 1.4 Mile Road course in Golden Colorado, and we are having a mountain cruise with a car show.

Last as a follow up to my other email. We are looking at having a car show one of the days. I need to figure out which location would be the best. We will be staying up by Boulder this year, so I would like to find a show in that area (anyone know of a good location). Anywhere near Bandi/Boulder will work.

The last one we had this year in the Springs was a huge success and good times for all....

This should be fun as hell

Meet and Greet the first day

Drag Strip just for us on the second (looking at around $40 per car)

Road Course the Third Day (around $60)

and a car show on the last....

So far we have about 30 Subby's, 40-50 S Body's, 6 Supra's, and a handful of EVO's.
should be good times for all....we are getting some sponsors together right now to give out some goodies at the races.

If anyone is interested in being a sponsor drop me a PM. This will help drop the cost for our racers.

Most of the guys traveling in are getting a Hotel near Boulder...we are reserving part of the floor for us. Not sure which hotel yet but I will let you all know when those details are ironed out.

I don't think there is a website for the road course.

not too bad. its about 8 hours whether you go I-80 or I-70. 80 has long straights (top speed) but the scenery sucks. 70 is an awesome summer drive and two nice canyons with twisty roads. i prefer 70 plus it drops you straight into denver where as i 80 you still have to drive down i25 which sucks. 70 ftw.

I like US 40 for a combonation for straights and twistys. You can always drop down by Rifle to I 70, or go over Davis pass to Loma. So many routes, so little time.

im not looking for any more "top speeds", so I-70 sounds good.
would you be down steve?

Its a 8hr drive easily...but when you get 230-250 miles on a tank of gas, your looking at $130+ just for gas....and with no AC, that drive sucks. I picked up my car in denver, and that was the worst drive ever, so flat and boring :O

Helmut, your right, it does sound fun though.

I bought an 01 RS in PA that was a LONG drive. I took 4 days to do it. It was fun though, girlfriend and flew there got the car and drove.... We slept in late every day and only drove about 6 hours then played around.

(sorry not trying to steel the thread.)

the $45 registration fee is only for 3/S owners. Subie people only pay for the events they WANT to participate in.
If they want to show up for drags...it's prepaid $30
If they want to participate in the roadcourse...it's a prepaid $20
and if they WANT to enter and be judged in Unified Productions car show, they need to pay the $20 entrance fee (which is waived for registered 3/S attendees)
So if a subie (or any other non 3/S car) wanted to participate in all three they'd be looking at $70.

Just eat cheap and don't be a lead foot on the way down here :)
