It's been a long day. I have everything that bolts to the front of the car off. Engine, tranny, steering, suspension... I'm tired and my fingers are numb. Tomorrow should bring the rest of everything from underneath the car. Then on to the interior on sunday. If I shred an entire STi in a weekend I may have a new occupation.

Anyhoo. I'll try to stay sober enough tonight to start on the list and come up with some dollar values. (I'm not off to a good start though... I use beer like chicks in commercials use Calgon.) So an initial list should get posted by the morning I hope.

There should be a shell available by tomorrow. And by shell, I hope you mean just what is welded together... within reason ;) . There are several chunks I just don't see anyone buying seperately. I mean, if someone needs the huge tube behind the dash, they are probably in traction anyway.

I'm down to the nitty gritty behind the dash. I started early this morning (when it was 8*F out there!) removing the interior but got bogged down. The Subaru stuff is easy to remove, but over 3 years I've tied the rest in a knot with the stereo, alarm and carputer wires. Too many adjustments, upgrades and reinstalls.

Tomorrow I'll finish up the puzzle behind the dash and knock out the door stuff... and can hopefully finish off by dropping the rear suspension, diff and fuel cell, which of course, is full :rolleyes:

Then I can turn my full attention to getting this stuff listed and sold. Just in time for everyone else's christmas :mad: :lol:

Granted... with the car in so many interesting pieces, my creative side thinks I could just make something new...

All pms and posts read and taken into account but I'm exhausted. The car is 3 door-guts and the front to rear brake and fuel lines (through the inside) away from being completely parted out.

I hope those interested in the entire wiring harness know how much it weighs. It made me grunt. The only other part that did that was the tranny, but I expected it.

I'll finish tomorrow and get to work on replying to offers and then begin the motor dissection. I'll also label the wiring harness because I'm just that nice :cool:

I'm going to post some pictures too. I may spread the entire STi out on my bed and roll in the parts. :p A little treat for the You-tube junkies.

All of that is available but you should probably wait for the pictures before deciding on any body parts. I'll have some up this evening.

Oh and the fender liners are pretty chewed up from big auto-x tires.

The front strut bar is freedom designs, not cusco. (rear is cusco and all sways) The cup holder I have is part of the whole Subaru Carbon-fiber trim set what I'll probably sell as a whole once I remove the Carputer screen from the radio besel.

That piece is off. You need both or just the driver's side? Shipping will be as much as the part since it's so long, once piece, and looks really easy to bend.

The ebrake assy end just a few inches behind the handle. Is that all you are looking for?

The two cables that run to the back wheels will sell with the hub assy.

OK. Wow. This is a huge project. I've seen all of the PMs and replied to a few. Biggest problem now is that I'm an instructor at the Community College and it is the end of the semester. Hectic. Good thing is that it is over for me by this weekend so next week I can really commit to getting things out the door. ( I gave my finals and graded them last week to get that out of the way. There isn't a complete dash. vents, tubing, trim, panels etc... all seperate. And the defrost vent is staying with the shell as it has a VIN plate on it.

The main dash component is large and will be for sale as pickup-only for a while before I offer to ship it. Pictures will be up before the weekend is out.

ok, i don't want to lowball you, cause it sounds extremely painfull to be doing what your doing right now. But I'm looking at a few parts from your motor.


1. Intake manifold wiring harness
2. MAF (w/stock mount if you still have it)
3. TGV delete plates
4. (i know its not listed but...) under intake manifold fuel tubes (not the two actual fuel rails)

anyways, i really don't know what to offer, but money is tight around x-mas.. so let me know.

I have the rear trunk hinges for sale but they are modified with pistons instead of springs for a wingless trunk. I have a whole new batch of photos to add once I get them named. ~100 pics of new stuff.

little under 40k I'd guess. They are still really stiff at the highest, stiffer than stock at the lowest... and they are rebuildable in the long run if needed. I think Biggly had his re-valved once. Or Hoppe before Biggly got the car.

Well Biggly was on the Tein HA's, or was it RA's? I dont remember. Anywho.. you dont by chance know the cost of a rebuild do you? And coudl I get just the coilovers, or do I have to get the EDFC too?

I trimmed the rears, which was enough. But I also added rear camber bolts and cusco adjustable tophats just in case. Could run -4 back there but left it at -3 with plenty of space.

That was at ~ stock height.

Do you still have the oil filler neck ? Also do you have the turbo inlet hose ?

All STi trannies have LSD front.

USDM STi injectors will NOT fit on USDM WRX.

Frist of all, the spare tire screw has to be upgraded to stage 4 lightweight high performance one and than the rest of other stuff... they say it makes WRX flying! :lol:

I have one in my 2002 WRX, the handle was bent alittle, but it holds the tire tight - I just happened to dig my car out of sand dunes on the wild beach last summer - and that thing appeared to be the only device I could use for that purpose, until the cops came and gave me the shovel.

That was fun! :D I just missed the sign "Sand dunes, driving any further is prohibited" and did some rally. It was nice while I kept moving, but there was a sharp turn and I had to slow down - than tried to accelerate and I finished standing still on the sand dune with ALL WHEEL DRIVE spining freely... After a couple hours of digging, finally cops gave me a shovel and later pushed me out of there with a $45 ticket for not seeing the sign at the entrance...

FMIC is still available. The injectors too, but you may need a JDM hammer to fit them properly.

The last box looked like it was man handled in shipping, but the rotors were wrapped so well that there were not any problems with them. Not sure but there is a lot. More than 75%. They are a step harder than R compound but they only saw auto-x use for maybe 10 events. And they are available still but not shipable as a wheel / tire combo. I'd remove the tires and ship the wheels though.

It was mauled to fit 2 10" free-air woofers. Recovered a few times. Center seat-belts and child-seat clip holes covered. Doubtful anyone would want it. It's a mess and not worth shipping. Which is why it isn't listed.
